Back Door Link to Your “True” Order Status

I’m a Day 2 reservation holder with no updates from Ford since October.

I know there’s been some Ford links floating around but a very helpful soon to be Bronco owner from another forum posted the below link that actually works. If you replace the “xxx’s” with your Reservation # in the string, you can get an apparently more accurate status on your order.

In my case, it now shows my Bronco scheduled for build on 2/14 with a full breakdown of my order. Conversely, If I go to my account on the Ford site using the regular link, it still shows it only as “Ordered”.

Ford is apparently behind in their emails. Good luck everyone.

Do not bother with the Ford site version of that - I have had my Bronco for two weeks it still shows "In Production" the only thing I found that was accurate - was the information I got from the Train company dragging it from Michigan to Seattle - and I did all that by myself - but you cannot rely on the info in your Ford account - its nowhere even close - ever.

It does work. First, go to ford.com and login with your account. Then, use the following link:

https://www.ford.com/buy/manage.html?reservationId=
You will need to edit the URL and enter your reservation number at the end of the URL. It has to be your original reservation number and not your order number.

It will also show all of your current selections for your order. You must edit the URL and enter the correct information (reservation number) and you must be logged in. Until it gets scheduled in the system, this link will not appear in your account, but it will work.

Mine is the same, only a build date of 1/31. My dealer doesn't show that I'm being previewed or have a vin. I called the bronco hotline and they gave me my vin lol.

Same boat, back door link on 12/10 showed Build week of 2/7, called Bronco Customer Service and received my VIN#. Put the VIN# into my account and it was accepted and now adds more boxes but the regular link still shows "ordered" and still no email confirmation either.

Does this work for order number as well? I don't have a reservation number because I ended up starting a brand new order with the dealer 2 weeks after making my reservation because I switched from wanting a big bend to OBX.

I recently checked my order on the Ford website and got pretty worried. It said my dealership wasn't taking orders, my order was still good, but I needed to contact my dealer to place my order. I then used the backdoor link and discovered I HAVE A BUILD DATE! I then called Ford and got my VIN#. So pumped!

Well that’s some happy news! I haven’t received any comms from Ford, and my account page on Ford says “ordered”. I used this full link and apparently I’m scheduled for production 1/31!

My dealer is telling me I don’t have a reservation# since we ordered through the dealer. So this link won’t work with people who went through a dealer?

I ordered mine online too but selected a dealer to ship it to. Reservation number and order number are 2 different things.
Wildtrak, hot pepper red, mic, Lux, tow...Totally worth it!!

Order Status
  • Order Sent to Dealer (CHECK)
  • Order Accepted by Dealer (CHECK)
  • Scheduled For Production
No checkmark or info next to that last line... :(

But at least I can validate that what they show DOES indeed match what I agreed to at the dealership.
