April 2022 Build Date

I wouldn't get too comfortable with that April build date. A bunch of orders that were scheduled for late January / February have since been pushed back to March/April due to component constraints. So there is probably a good possibility that you will get pushed so Ford can finish up those orders. May be why Ford hasn't emailed you a build date yet.

BUT, some news is better than no news.

Yeah, I'm not gonna get too comfortable with it, but all of my friends have been asking me about my order and I haven't been able to say anything so any update is good to me. Also, there's the possibility that this is a pushed date but I never saw the original date. In any case, I will continue to have dreams of riding around this summer with the doors off in my new Bronco

I ordered in November. Got my vin from bronco customer service. Online and dealer nothing. Still yet to get email from ford. My build day was 21 March. But just ground out I skipped to first week in April. So your not a lone.

Any chance you can share the Bronco customer service number? I don't have high hopes, but I need something... going to the Bronco Off Roadeo only made me more antsy... If I don't have doors and tops off this summer I will be SO disappointed.

Does anyone know the timeline from build date to actually built (assuming they meet the date) and then built date to delivered? I feel ridiculous asking since I am not sure anyone has seen a "typical" build/delivery process but figured - why not ask.

Here is my no info story-- I called to make an order change and my dealer said I couldn't because I had a March build date. Contacted Ford customer service to check on it because I hadn't received anything since 'Congratulations on your order' from Ford. They needed a order # or vin from the dealer to find anything, which i didn't have. I called the dealership again and he gave me an order #, so I re-contacted Ford to confirm what my dealer had about a build date and see if I could get a vin so I could track it and maybe it would show up on my Ford account page. They found my order, but no vin # and said it would not have one until production started. I asked about the build date and was told they couldn't see that, but the dealership would know more than they would. Still nothing on my ford account page. Now I am just burying my head in the sand until March when I will call and see if I have been bumped back(and to when).

I'm with you. My patience is running thin with the clown posse at Ford. If the new 4runner is to my liking, I may just walk away.

So I just got off the phone with my sales guy. He’s amazing and we order all our vehicles (both business and personal) through him. He said from what he can see of his locations orders being picked up by Ford to build, it doesn’t appear that constraints as far as what you ordered are a big issue at the moment. My order has like 85% of everything you can add on to make it fancy, and he said he just had 6 picked up by Ford yesterday that almost all have as much loaded onto them as mine does or more. He was also able to tell me my priority number and how far down his list I am.

I’m not jumping up and down or anything but my priority number is 10 and on his list I’m also 10th. Considering Ford pulled 6 orders from his location this week, I’m happy with that.
Also, for those that asked, he said what he’s been seeing is once your actual build date has arrived (ex: if 3/13/22 is your build date, then ON 3/13/22) Broncos have been arriving on his lot in roughly 4 weeks! That’s great news to hear especially with what I was expecting.

Now before anyone says anything, I trust my guy. He’s honest to a fault and knows I don’t f*** around, especially after a year, and refuses to blow smoke up my a$$. Obviously he could be incorrect and things can change, but I am 100% confident that he’s giving me the most accurate information he can at the moment. Plus, this is just my dealership I can’t speak for other of course. But it’s nice to know SOMETHING, even if shortages or recalls happen, I’m only 10th in line locally!!!❤️

Call normal ford customer service. Then ask for bronco customer service is what I did. You will need dealer code and order number to give them. That’s how they will look your build up.

My Dealer Said: "Build Scheduled for Week of March 21" No email from Ford. Not on tracker. Don't believe him. Probably call Ford Customer Service next week & get the same answer that it is not available, can't see it, just keep in touch with your dealer...

Am I the lucky one. Test drove $55 Wildcat 2 door 2.7l seemed slow to my old Cayenne turbo or Range Rover . Dealer want $15k over will talking to a Russian!

Got vin # about a month ago with 2/9/22 build date. Same date as Supreme Court gave me a win!
The second email moved to 2/22/22. Well may have to see that nice judge on that date also.

Told dealer I was in no rush because my Range Rover still has some more payments (7). Dont know why I got moved up maybe base with hardtop 4 door. My only issue with Wildcat besides being slow in the 2.7L was I need a step ladder to get in. Trail turn assist works great. Donuts on unpaved lot. Trail low cruise feature worked well. Big, real big screen, nice leather seats but on two door hard to get in back two feet off the ground.

I'll keep my base, but does anyone once Bronco goes into production how long before the rail shipment to east the car carrier to dealer on Long Island. If you want that White Wildcat 2022 fir $70k call Riverhead Ford. I'll see them again on Monday the 14th.

Is this Ford Customer Service number some secret squirrel thing? Why has no one posted the number? I first ordered back in April 21, did a reorder in Jan and still no information on my Bronco........ I think I have been very accommodating and patient with Ford and my dealership.
