Tail Rax order or the parts of it I actually received

I ordered @TrailRax for the BS Badlands from BN store with Pax Rax. Got the order Thursday wasn't home and they left a 7ft long package just sitting out in the open blocking the walkway to my house, not their fault but damn at least check to see if someone is home before leaving something with "high value" stickers all over it. I have a camera on my doorbell and have the whole thing of him just literally dropping it and walking away. Luckily a neighbor down the street was able to bring it into my garage for me. That said the build quality is nice on the parts I received. Problem is they did not send the correct bolts or nuts for the assembly. No T-Nuts to attach the wind deflector, no bolts or washers or nuts to attach the pax rax, no nuts to attach the U bolts so can't connect the clamps to the rails. Try calling they aren't there Fri-Sun and the automated online help is useless. Hopefully they answer my emails and I don't have to do a homedepot run to put it together. For the price you'd think they'd make sure that all the pieces for assembly were there.

I have had excellent results with them as far as communications. I did not have missing parts issues but they were super responsive and most helpful. Bummer you are missing parts but I'll bet they get you fixed up as quickly as possible.
21 Badlands, 2 dr, four banger, slushbox, SAS. PERFECT!

Genuinely, that is why I ordered it. I had heard nothing but amazing things on their quality. I never asked if parts were missing or broken etc... when delivered, I always just assumed that with all the praise they always came through. Guess I am hoping the fix it and venting at the same time. Nothing like dropping that kind of $$$ and then having to wait and hope to see if the problem gets resolved. Not to mention having to wait even longer to install it. Maybe its because its for the Bronco Sport and not the regular Bronco and its still a new product. Maybe they put it in a different bag and just forgot to pack it. Don't know just frustrated.

Call them. Tell them you're anxious to install it before the upcoming holiday, and request a rush on the parts you need. The instructions were excellent for what screws and bolts were for which function. I found their customer service to be excellent. Yeah, stuff happens--you're missing parts and the delivery guy didn't (or couldn't) handle that heavy steel load. Mine was dropped on my porch; at least, not on the sidewalk! A year ago I found a (very heavy) boxed Tacoma bumper lying in the middle of a local road, must have fallen off the truck. I called town services, and they got somebody out to reunite the missed-delivery with its probably worried recipient.

Two install tips: 1) There's a grooved rubber tubing on the wind deflector, it goes right over the windshield. Apply some all-weather sealant or glue, then get some painter's tape to pull that rubber in tight to the deflector edge, and give it an overnight to cure. 2) Securing the front brackets onto the "accessory-ready" bolts is tricky. Be patient with yourself. I found that positioning the nuts onto the truck's bolts with needle-nose pliers helped. Once I got a turn of the threading, I tightened it down with a closed ratcheting wrench. Seriously, don't try any other wrench, and don't over-torque!!! Snap one of those bolts, and you're in a world of hurt. (There was an entire thread on the other side devoted to remedying that.)

Getting those nuts started is tricky. I found that I handled the driver's side better, being right-handed, and my leftie buddy did the passenger side. Really helped!

UPDATE***

So they answered me first thing this morning, asked for photos understandably. I explained the situation and they are shipping out the missing bolts, nuts, and washers to complete the install. Should be here in a couple of days. Here's to hoping the next update is just photos of it fully installed.

Yeah, didn't we tell you? We told you! 😄 We told you!
More install tips:
#3. Get a large blanket or something and lay out your parts in your garage or driveway. Follow the directions in order, they're quite clear. #4: Recruit a buddy to help. It'll be a lot more fun, go faster, and you're less likely to make a mistake, especially positioning the assembled TRMX onto your truck. It is heavy (which is why you bought it, right?) #5: The paxrack is secured to the Bronco (side) frame with the same bolts that secure the rear-most roof panel. So you'll be removing that panel to slide in the base of the paxrax. #5 Again: be careful not to overtorq those bolts. Consider getting some heavy-duty alloy bolts, as they are now securing 1) the rear roof panel, which now holds 2) the TRMX and anything you carry on that, and 3) the paxrax. and anything you carry on that.

Understand that you will probably never take off that rear roof panel, not with the TRMX on it. One of life's trade-offs.

I put a few 1/4-20 stainless t-nuts in every crossbar groove. When I have to secure something, I have a variety of 1/4- bolts, threaded studs, and eye-bolts I can screw into those T-nuts to attach just about anything
