No X-Plan for Bronco 2021 But…

20

Due to high demand and limited production capacity, Ford has decided the Bronco two- and four- door models will not be eligible for X-plan in 2021.  Bronco Sport will continue to be eligible for X-Plan.  For those of you who have been around the block on similar hot Ford’s, notably the F-150 Raptor, and Mustang Shelby models, this news will not be a surprise to you. For those of you who recently joined Mustang Club of America to leverage their X-Plan benefit, you’ll have to use it for another eligible Ford.  Bronco will offer A (employee) Z (retiree) D (dealer employee) Plan pricing for all series except limited-run First Edition.

Here are some anticipated questions and answers directly from Ford PR regarding this decision that might be helpful:

Will Bronco two- and four- door offer AXZD Plan pricing?

  • Bronco will offer AZD (A = Employee, Z = Ford Retiree, D = Dealer) Plan pricing for all series except limited-run First Edition. X-plan (X = Friends & Family) will NOT be offered on any Bronco two- and four- door for the 21MY.

Why are you excluding X-Plan pricing for Bronco?

  • Due to unprecedented demand and limited supply Bronco two- and four- door will NOT be eligible for X-plan in 21MY.  This is similar to other limited supply vehicles like F150 Raptor, Mustang Shelby

Why are you announcing this now?

  • We are announcing this at same time as our full pricing and Build and Price release on Bronco two- and four- door

I have already generated an X-Plan pin, can I use it?

  • PINs are not specific to a vehicle and can be used on any eligible vehicle.

Will Bronco Sport offer AXZD Plan pricing?

  • Yes. Bronco Sport offers AXZD Plan pricing for all series.

  1. Time to cancel, do you want my business or not FORD! If the volume is high then you’re making enough money to offer a limited discount like the X program.

  2. So Ford’s only going to make like 20,000 Bronco’s in MY21? That’s a limited run. Somehow I doubt that! This doesn’t see quite right at this point.

  3. I’m very disappointed Ford is not offering the X plan on the new Bronco. Over my life I have purchased around 25 new ford vehicles from my local dealer Doenges Ford. I have always used the X plan except when I bought a Shelby GT500 in 2007. I’m a loyal ford customer and feel ford is gouging me in my purchase just for more profit. Please reconsider. Thank you.

  4. I understand that AXZ plans are something the dealer may or may not participate in. The dealer I ordered my Bronco with indicated that he didn’t believe that we could use the A plan.
Does Ford offer any incentive for the dealer to apply the AXZ discounts? I have purchased a couple of other vehicles using the A plan (at another dealer), using one of my brothers PIN, but I’m not familiar with the whole process. All I did, with the other cars, was to provide the PIN to the dealer, and they did the rest! I’ve moved to a new state since then and have been supporting this local dealer, who I placed my reservation with.
Does anyone have any convincing arguments that could convince my local dealer to consider allowing the A plan? Can I ‘move’ my reservation to another dealer who would allow using the A plan discount?

  5. Not only am I sitting on a ton of a non-dividend paying stock, elimination of the X plan is just another slap. Extremely disappointed!

  6. I have 950 shares of Ford I bought when they were paying a dividend. When they cancelled it I held on thinking the X plan would help me a bit on the price. Very sad the way this was handled.

  7. Hello! Someone in my Myspace group shared this site with us so I came to
give it a look. I’m definitely enjoying the information. I’m book-marking and will be tweeting this to my followers!
