Ah, the 2-door Bronco. Based on the only door option of yore –– 1966-1996 Broncos had one driver and one passenger door –– this stubbier version of Ford’s wild horse may not be as popular as the 4-door Bronco, but it has its passionate fans.
Whether you like it for the tradition, better breakover angle, or smaller gas tank and less cargo space, you should know which trims it's available in for 2025, because times have changed.
(I have a 2-door and adore it, by the way, additional fuel stops, more calculated packing, and all).
The 2025 2-Door Broncos
For 2025, you can get a 2-door Bronco in these trims:
- Base
- Badlands
- Stroppe
Does that list seem shorter this year than in the past? It is. In 2021, the first year of the 6th Generation, you could get any of the seven models with two doors, from Base to First Edition. By late 2021, 2-door enthusiasts were presented with the first Bronco options that didn’t cater to their preferred count: the 2022 Bronco Raptor, available only as a 4-door, with the Everglades introduced shortly after. (Is now a good time to mention that, technically, we are driving and buying 3- and 5-door vehicles?)
Anyway, it wasn’t until the 2024MY that a door-count option was actually taken away from a Bronco trim. That's when the Outer Banks moved to solely four doors. With 2025 ordering, two more trims fell victim to diminishing door counts: Big Bend and Heritage Edition joined Outer Banks and Raptor as 4-door-only Broncos.
With the recent retirement of Black Diamond, Heritage Limited, and Wildtrak, all available as either door count, interested 2-door buyers are left with the three models above. And while the choices are no longer as plentiful, these trims do present a range of pricing options for potential Bronco buyers: entry (Base at $37,995), mid (Badlands at $50,095), and higher (Stroppe at $75,635).
For larger families, people with pets and more gear, or high-speed off-roaders seeking the stability of a longer wheelbase, a 2-door Bronco may not make sense. But if you’re an enthusiast who loves the look, size, and version’s own unique strengths, one of these three trims might be perfect for you.
