Choosing the best color for your 2025 Ford Bronco Sport is a personal decision that reflects your style, personality, and how you plan to use or modify your vehicle to make it one of a kind. Are you looking for bright colors that attract the eye or are you the practical off-roader that wants to reduce the look of dirt and scratches?
This year, Ford has provided a wide variety of stunning shades for the 2025 model year, some of which are included in the base price as well as some eye-popping upgraded colors. Some popular colors are gone and some sure to be new favorites taking their place. Let’s explore the colors and see which one you think is perfect for your lifestyle.
There have also been some changes to the interior colors which we will discuss as well.
In 2024, there were nine color choices that have been reduced by one to eight for 2025. Let’s discuss the colors that are no longer available.
Cactus Gray is Gone
When the Bronco was re-launched in 2021, colors like Cactus Gray, Area 51, and Cyber Orange stood out to further differentiate the Bronco from competitive brands. Owners became passionate about these colors, but Ford likes to refresh and update colors, so those are now gone for now. It struck a perfect balance between utility and style, making it ideal for off-road adventures and daily commutes alike.
One of Cactus Gray's standout traits was its practicality—it camouflaged dirt and dust from trail use, making it a favorite among off-roaders who valued function as much as form. Its understated hue also worked beautifully with aftermarket accessories like black wheels, roof racks, and decals, allowing for endless customization.
Say Goodbye to Atlas Blue
Although Atlas Blue is gone, blue is not lost from the Bronco Sport line up. Atlas is a bit darker blue than the Velocity now being offered and was only available on the Sport in 2023 and 2024. So, if this color is important to you, you can still grab a 2024, but I think Velocity is a great option for us lovers of blue.
Hot Pepper Red Tinted Clearcoat
This popular color has been retired with the red moving over to Ruby Red, offering a much deeper hue than Hot Pepper.
Now, for the 2025 Colors……
Velocity Blue: A Bold Statement
Velocity Blue is a vibrant and energetic shade and has been in the Ford line-up for some time, just new to the Sport. Whether you're cruising through the city or out on the trail, this color stands out and looks good with aftermarket accents. It’s my favorite color in this year’s lineup but may show dirt and scratches a bit more than some of the other choices. At only $295 paint upgrade, this is a great choice to get a bright, beautiful color.
Shadow Black: Sleek and Stealthy
Shadow Black is a classic choice that allows you to see the lines of the car without being distracted by color. While black requires more frequent cleaning to maintain its shine, it’s a good choice for those who appreciate its sleek appearance. One thing to keep in mind, many of the graphic packages from Ford are in black and are less noticeable being black on black. My 2025 Sasquatch is Shadow Black, and the Sasquatch graphic is really challenging to see. It is one of the colors included in the price.
Ruby Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat: Racy and Striking
If you’re drawn to fiery colors, Ruby Red Metallic is your only red option but it’s a nice one. This vibrant red color makes a striking impression and reflects the Bronco Sport's adventurous DNA. It’s an excellent choice for drivers who want their vehicle to stand out in any setting. This is a tinted clearcoat, meaning that a transparent metallic topcoat is applied after the basecoat to give it that extra shine for a $495 upgrade.
Eruption Green Metallic: Nature-Inspired Ruggedness
Eruption Green Metallic fits right into the great outdoors, making it ideal for off roaders exploring forest service trails. This earthy color embodies the Bronco Sport's adventurous character and seamlessly blends in wooded or desert landscapes. This is a popular choice for only a $295 upgrade.
Desert Sand: Adventure-Ready Neutral
Desert Sand is a rugged, muted beige that’s perfect for off-road enthusiasts. This earthy tone blends effortlessly into desert landscapes and dusty trails, making it a practical choice for those who frequent rugged terrains, as it hides dirt and scratches well, also for $295.
Carbonized Gray: Understated Sophistication
Carbonized Gray offers a sleek, modern look with a hint of metallic sheen. This versatile shade complements the Bronco Sport’s design while providing a low-maintenance option that hides dirt and road grime effectively. It’s an excellent choice for drivers who prefer a refined, subdued color and this color is one included in the price.
Oxford White: Clean and Timeless
Oxford White is a classic choice that highlights the Bronco Sport’s bold styling. This pure, bright shade offers a crisp and clean appearance, whether on city streets or rugged trails. While white may require more frequent washing to keep it looking pristine, it’s a timeless color that never goes out of style. My F-150 is Oxford white, and I’m surprised on how well it hides the dirt and its definitely cooler in the hot desert sun. It’s also very easy to add graphics and accents in any color.
Azure Gray Metallic Tri-Coat: Refined Sophistication
Azure Gray Metallic Tri-Coat offers a premium, understated elegance that stands out in the Bronco Sport lineup. This sophisticated blend of blue and gray tones, which is similar to the obsolete Area 51 color, provides a versatile look that appeals to the masses.
Azure Gray is striking in the sunlight, where its metallic finish reveals depth and dimension. It’s a favorite for drivers who want something unique but not overpowering, a color that blends into both urban and natural environments. It’s the most expensive paint upgrade at $995.
Interior Changes
Compared to paint choices, choice of interior materials and colors are based on the trim package you select, so choices are limited. There’s been no change to the Heritage or Free Wheeling options, both of which are built on the Big Bend trim. Here’s how those interiors are changing in 2025
Big Bend
In 2024, choices were only available in easy to clean cloth in Ebony or Medium Dark Slate. Ebony premium trimmed seats could be added with the Black Appearance Package which significantly changes the look of the exterior as well. In 2025, is Medium Light Smoked Truffle cloth and upgraded premium trimmed seats in Ebony if you invest $1800 in the Black Appearance Package.
Outer Banks
Premium trimmed seats are included in the Outer Banks trim. In 2024, those options were Roast or Navy. In 2025, the choices are two toned Ebony and Roast or Platinum Blue.
Badlands
In 2024, standard was cloth in two toned Ebony/Area 51 or a premium upgrade to Ebony/Roast leather trimmed with mini perforation seats. In 2025, standard is Dark Space Gray leather trimmed with mini perforations seats. Not sure I like the neon yellow green seat highlights that come with the Sasquatch package, but they definitely stand out.
Final Thoughts
The best color for the 2025 Bronco Sport ultimately depends on your personal preferences and how you plan to use the vehicle. Are you looking for something bold and attention-grabbing, or do you prefer to blend in better with the terrain? With options ranging from the vibrant Ruby Red Metallic to the rugged Desert Sand, colors in the 2025 lineup highlight the Bronco Sport’s adventurous spirit.
