Since relaunching the Bronco in 2021, Ford has unveiled a steady lineup of concept builds, each exploring different directions of both the Bronco and Sport’s modular potential. At Easter Jeep Safari 2021 in Moab, four unique concepts showcased Bronco’s flexibility — from rooftop tents to wrapped rigs decked in lights — and this year, that vision continues with two new vehicles designed specifically for the trails that inspired them.

Revealed at the 2025 Bronco Stampede in Moab, the Bronco Off-Roadeo: Arches and Bronco Off-Roadeo: Cliffhanger project vehicles celebrate the awesome terrain of southeastern Utah while pushing Bronco’s off-road personalization to new extremes.

The Builds –– Design Notes

“Both vehicles were built to celebrate the Moab area and Bronco Off-Roadeo Moab,” says Bronco Chief Designer Rob Gelardi. “Included with the purchase of any Bronco, Bronco Sport, or Bronco Raptor model, the Off-Roadeo experience teaches owners of all skill levels how to off-road responsibly. The Moab area, meanwhile, plays host to Arches National Park, while Cliffhanger is a grueling off-road trail south of the city (the road to which passes by some of the petroglyphs that inspired the Bronco design team).

“With the Arches and Cliffhanger Project Vehicles, we’re also paying homage to Moab’s stunning natural terrain — which includes public land and trails that Ford works to preserve via the Bronco Wild Fund and Tread Lightly! sponsorship – and its status as one of North America’s off-roading jewels.”

Bronco Off-Roadeo: Arches | Tackle Moab Trails with a Full Crew

The Arches build, based on a four-door Bronco Badlands, is designed as a trail-capable, ultimate all-around transporter for five. The project vehicle has been given 37" BFGoodrich All-Terrain tires, a power soft top, RIGID lights, and a WARN ZEON S-10 winch. Named for the nearby national park, the Bronco's exterior reflects the desert environment with a metallic shade of wrap with a matte protective film.

The Bronco Color and Materials Design team, led by Kellie Walters and Brad Fishkin, chose a combo that shifts in the sunlight to mimic the light-catching texture of slickrock under sun. Code Orange highlights — on the roof rails, trail sights, and more — add contrast and tie in with custom graphics designed after the natural stone landmarks.

"Our Design team, with lead designer Justin Sorum, saw a great connection between Moab’s unique geologic arch formations, and the Bronco’s easy open-air design that allows you to enjoy the outdoors,” says Gelardi. “So, we accented the roof rails Code Orange as well, so each vehicle has its own arch. The Cliffhanger project vehicle is even airier, thanks to the Ford Performance tube doors, which the design team updated with color accents and a unique graphic plate.”

Bronco Off-Roadeo: Cliffhanger | What Challenge?

While the Arches build emphasizes all-around trail versatility, the Cliffhanger Project Vehicle takes a focused approach to low-speed, high-clearance crawling. Based on a two-door Bronco, Cliffhanger runs on 40-inch BFGoodrich Baja T/A Evo 3.0S tires, paired with Fox Live Valve shocks and 18-inch beadlock-capable Method wheels. Its stance and profile were made for Moab’s technical challenges — including the trail that gives it its name.

Cliffhanger features custom fenders, flares, and tail lights styled like the 4-door Bronco Raptor, a rear seat delete, carbon fiber touches, and Ford Performance tube doors accented with a representation of Moab’s culturally significant rock art found in places like Newspaper Rock and Horseshoe Canyon. The design team carried over Code Orange accents from the Arches build and brought in the Raptor’s high-vis steering wheel center marker and G.O.A.T. Mode dial bezel.

“Just looking at Cliffhanger, you know it means business,” says Geraldi.

A Glimpse at What Could Be?

With its massive tires, carbon fiber accents, and Raptor-style fender details, Cliffhanger doesn’t just look like a concept. It looks like a conversation starter. The Raptor brand is tied to high-speed desert running, an angle of off-roading that benefits from a longer wheelbase. While Ford has yet to launch a publicly available two-door Bronco Raptor, Cliffhanger feels like a wink to the community that’s been asking for one –– take Unicorn's 2-door build, an owner who couldn't wait for a shorter wheelbase lower-speeds crawler from factory, for instance.

So whether Cliffhanger remains a one-off or we'll look back and see it as a preview, it’s clear that Ford’s still listening — and still creating fun, dream-worthy Built Wild products for the trail.

See 'Em in Person!

Both the Bronco Off-Roadeo: Arches and Off-Roadeo: Cliffhanger Project Vehicles will be on display at the Bronco Stampede at Moab all week, located next to Performance Ford. Come out and see the concepts, drive the Bronco Off-Roadeo Outpost experience, enter to win a WARN winch and RIGID pod lights, join Bronco Nation for a meetup, and hang out with Ford and Bronco ambassadors: We’ll see you there!
