Today, Ford announced the giveaway it’s been teasing for the last few days: A one of one camo-wrapped 2-door 2024 Ford Bronco Badlands, called the Sasquatch Searcher. The sweepstakes opens today and runs through October 1, 2024.
According to Ford, “the Bronco Sasquatch Searcher will send players on a Sasquatch-inspired quest – to ‘get back out there’ with a Ford Bronco as their guide.
Fans have to solve mystery clues across social media, Reddit and out in the wild. Posters and street signs in prime Sasquatch-tracking locations will have a phone number that fans can text for answers to clues that will guide them on their quest.”

What’s On the Sasquatch Searcher?
Per the official rules, the Sasquatch Package-equipped 2-door will have a handful of goodies designed to help “Sasquatch Believers” track down the elusive forest beast:

Additionally, the wrapped Bronco has a custom interior, Sasquatch foot puddle lights, door sill protectors with coordinates, custom camping chairs, and a custom Sasquatch Believer console badge. The engine option, between 2.3L and 2.7L, isn’t listed.
The total approximate retail value of the prize is $84,816, putting this Badlands closer to the starting price of a ’24 Bronco Raptor ($90,035) vs. your typical 2-door “extreme off-roader” (Badlands starts at $50,095).
With the reveal, Ford is also launching a set of merch –– watch for it on merchandise.ford.com –– so you can let others know where you stand.
What We Think
This is a cool Bronco, and free is always nice! And while camouflage on 4x4 vehicles is common, we haven’t seen many camo wraps, if at all, on a 6th Gen. We fully expect to see the badges copied in short time, but what has been shown of the interior so far doesn’t give much away.
Once you spot Sasquatch, make sure you post your dash-cam footage, so we can all revel in what your unique and nimble 2-door helped you track!

If you already have a Bronco you’re partial to, upfit it further with Ford parts and accessories and partner products from the Bronco Nation store, like we've done with our three Broncos over the years. With these add-ons, we haven't found Sasquatch yet, but we've been all over the U.S. and Iceland looking!
Like us, you’ll need lights, a roof rack, and –– if you’re serious about spotting Sasquatch –– skid plates, bumpers, probably a first aid kit, and a recovery bag. One thing's nearly for sure: He or she is not going to be found on the pavement.

For your faux Sasquatch Searcher, we recommend:

- Heretic lights – Sasquatch is going to blend in, but you won’t give the creature many hiding spots with a Heretic light bar, ditch lights, or fog lights.
- ARB vehicle protection – Depending on your trim, you may benefit from under vehicle protection, like skids and differential covers. Add on some tough bumpers, maybe a WARN winch too, and you’ll be ready to head deep into the trails. Steps and sliders will get you in and out of the vehicle quickly plus help prevent body damage while you’re in the wild.
- A My Medic FAK – Hopefully you won’t pick up scratches and cuts while chasing down Sasquatch, but if you do, My Medic has you covered with a host of first aid kit options.
- Recovery gear –– From traction boards, jacks, and recovery straps, our recovery gear section has tools you need to get back on the hunt. Don’t let mud and rocks stop your search!
And while you’re gearing up, throw in a trail shirt or a flannel. If Sasquatch is ever seen, we firmly believe he or she would be representing the official uniform of the Nation.
