Bronco Nation has covered the Rebelle Rally often because we’re excited for it annually. Our community is built up with women who have off-roaded all their lives, and the new Bronco and Sport have brought plenty more in to join them.

A look back: The Road to Rebelle

The Rebelle Rally gives women –– new to off-roading or veterans –– a chance to go further with their skills. In turn, the rest of us can benefit from their experience, and some of you already have, whether at a BN event with our very own trail expert Melissa Clark or with Jess "Hollywood" Moore as a guide at Texas Bronco Off-Roadeo!

Late last week, Ford released its announcement on the teams it is sponsoring for 2023 and the vehicles: The ladies will be competing in a Bronco Sport, Bronco Wildtrak, two Bronco Raptors, and a Mustang Mach-E Rally. Many other teams will be running the rally in Ford vehicles individually.

Check out the release below and watch Bronco Nation for updates as the women work their way toward the podium.

Ford + Rebelle Rally

Ford is sponsoring five teams at this year's Rebelle Rally, with four teams trying to extend the multi-year success of Bronco and Bronco Sport, while the fifth strives to complete the grueling course in the all-electric Mustang Mach-E Rally.

The Rebelle Rally is the first women's off-road navigation rally raid in the U.S. It not only showcases the ability of the vehicle entries, but also challenges the navigation skills of the participants. No GPS. No cell phones. Ever.

Each team consists of a driver, navigator, and vehicle, with no team support crew allowed. Participants spend their nights camping along the approximately 1,500-mile course.

The event will start at Mammoth Mountain on Oct. 12, wind its way across rugged terrain in Nevada and California, and finish in the Imperial Sand Dunes in Southern California on Oct. 21.

This is the fourth consecutive year of Ford participation, and the first time Ford is an official sponsor (Silver Sponsor).
