This past weekend, Ford revealed the 60th Anniversary Bronco package at Michigan Bronco Club’s Birthday Bash, which took place in Mears, Michigan, at the Silver Lake sand dunes.

Approximately 450 Broncos and their owners gathered to celebrate the upcoming August 11 birthday, enjoy the community fun, off-road, and see the surprise.

Confirmed 2026 Bronco Changes

The new Bronco package brought a handful of unique details, including wheels, spare tire cover, and front grille, but one item will be available on all 2026 model year Bronco SUVs: a brand-new A-pillar grab handle on both the driver and passenger side.

This grab handle introduction should be welcomed by many, as it’s been frequently mentioned in the community since launch. Despite the Bronco-bolted grab handle currently present near the steering wheel, owners of a 2026 and their passengers may find the upper A-pillar an easier location to use when entering the cabin.

Unfortunately for 2021-2025 Bronco owners, this change cannot be retrofitted to your vehicle, as the new handle uses structure uniquely for it.

I tested the handle out with my 5’6” frame and found it sturdy and in a great location with no intrusion on head space. I like it and am excited for future owners of a 2026 Bronco.

Ordering for the model year begins in October. Other than the new package and grab handle, no other news has been announced for the new model year. Stay tuned for updates as we have them.

What Do You Think?

If you could have this new addition on your Bronco, would you be thrilled? Have you modified your Bronco to make getting in easier?
