We’ve seen everything from a total pinked-out Bronco, to sky-high lifts and scrapers (where the body is so low it scrapes the ground). There is no limit to a Bronco owner’s imagination, and it’s always fun to see how people have chosen to customize their vehicles.
If you’re new to Bronco, and not sure what you want to do or how you want to make it your own, we have some suggestions from the Bronco Nation Gear Store for the must-have mods for your Bronco. Remember, you can modify the exterior, interior, engine, suspension, wheels, or just add a few accessories without making any major modifications.

Best Accessories for Bronco Customization
THE WINCH KIT
For serious off-roaders, Warn® offers a Bronco Winch Kit co-developed by Ford and WARN engineers to make sure the fit is correct. It works on every Bronco except Raptor.
The kit features a 10,000-lb winch, 100-ft spydura synthetic winch line, 10,000-lb winch hook, red hook strap, wired remote control, and more. This accessory requires an airbag safety system update to ensure proper airbag deployment. There are other requirements for this fit, such as specific software and installation tools needed, which you can learn more about on the product page in the Gear Store.
LIGHTING OPTIONS
When off-roading at night, extra lighting is a must-have accessory. Luckily, from fog lights and ditch lights to bumper light bars, Bronco Nation offers many lighting options for you to explore. One great option for the Ford Bronco is the Project X Series X HP.85 light kit. Easy to install for a DIYer, it easily bolts onto your modular front bumper using factory accessory-ready hardware and mounting locations. Note, this kit does not fit Bronco Sport. WHEELS
One of the easiest customizations is wheels. And with so many options out there, it’s hard to decide which one is just right for your Bronco or Bronco Sport. Wheel designs can match whatever image you want to portray – sporty, heritage, rugged, colorful, or unique.
LIFT KITS
Bring your Bronco to new heights with a lift kit. Modifying your vehicle with a lift kit can help to improve the stance, performance, and capability of your vehicle on the trails. One great example is the BDS suspension 3.5” lift kit, which is engineered for additional tire clearance without overextending the driveline angles or suspension droop. COOLERS
Sometimes customizing your ride can be as easy as adding a cooler to the cargo area. We all know there’s nothing cooler than a YETI cooler. One of our favorites is the YETI Tundra Haul. It’s the first YETI cooler with wheels, so you can easily move it from the Bronco to the campsite.
