Every year, usually between the end of April and July, Ford adjusts its lineup for what’s known as Job 2 –– the second half of the model year’s production. This year, we got the coming changes earlier. Job 2 information was released to dealers last week, and Ford updated its Build & Price configurator on Tuesday.
We talked with Bronco Brand Manager Haley Skiko about some of these changes and additions that you may have already started hearing about.
2026 Bronco Job 2 Mid-Year Updates
Paint Colors
One of the original 2021 body colors, Carbonized Gray, has been retired across all Bronco trims. In its place, Orange Fury, has been added.
Orange Fury, already present in the Bronco lineup on the 2026 Sport, can be optioned on Bronco Base, Big Bend, and Badlands. Being a tri-coat paint, Orange Fury is the most premium of the color upgrades: $995. Other paint colors, outside of “no-cost” Shadow Black and Oxford White, are $395 or $495.
Painted Hard Top Choices Expand
The model year started out with Badlands being able to be optioned in 37 color combinations, between the body color and painted roofs. Now, Ford has expanded that mix and match ability to Outer Banks and Raptor.

If you’re interested in customizing one of these trims, there’s no need to wait to call up your salesperson. “As of now, dealers can help customers build one of those out,” said Skiko.
Return of the Keyless Entry Keypad
Customers missed it, so Ford brought it back. The keyless entry keypad can be added to your order for $195.
Wildtrak’s Rebirth
Even though the Wildtrak disappeared as a separate trim for 2025, potential owners could still spec a Badlands in nearly the same configuration, thanks to the availability of HOSS 3.0 as a suspension choice.

However, not everyone realized this, so Ford turned the features –– Sasquatch Package as standard, the Black Appearance Package, HOSS 3.0, the 10-speed automatic transmission, and the 2.7L engine –– into the Wildtrak Package for Badlands.
“This was feedback we got from the dealers and customers who wanted the content within Wildtrak and missed it,” said Skiko. “This configuration is already a buildable combo today, but we wanted to make it more user friendly to check a box and receive the content as a ‘package’ to give customers the Wildtrak feel. All the content came together and will now be displayed as a one click combo versus having to build on your own.”
The Wildtrak Package is $11,945. Please note that while Badlands is one of the two trims with a 2-door option, the Wildtrak Package is only available on the 4-door Badlands. However, you could still start with a 2-door Badlands and add the Sasquatch Package, Black Appearance Package, HOSS 3.0, and the 10-speed automatic transmission –– all but the 2.7L engine, to get a similar build.
Don’t Forget: Bronco RTR
While most Job 2 changes run along the lines of pricing and product tweaks instead of major reveals, the community does know of an update arriving with the next model year’s production. Coming in 2027, the Bronco RTR will be added to the lineup.
