At Bronco Nation, we’re big fans of driving the Bronco Sport on-road to adventures, and we’ve found it incredibly capable off-road as well. It’s exciting news that Ford is giving the 2023 Sport the optional Black Diamond package as well as expanding access to Bronco Off-Roadeo.
The Black Diamond Off-Road Package
The new package will bring more Sport trims closer to the capabilities of the Badlands. Available for Big Bend and Outer Banks, the Black Diamond Off-Road Package adds four steel bash plates for under-vehicle protection, 17” Carbonized Gray aluminum wheels, 225/65R17 Continental all-terrain tires, and matte black graphics on the hood and doors.
The added trail functionality of the armor and grippier tires will help take owners further into the backcountry. And the look is cool too –– wheels similar to the Heritage series plus the matte graphics give the package rights to one of the Sport’s best stylings yet.
You can order the Bronco Sport Black Diamond Off-Road Package now at Ford dealers. The package costs $1,295 to add on and is late availability.
Bronco Off-Roadeo Access to All Sport Models
Equally exciting is the news that every Bronco Sport owner and order-holder now receives complimentary Bronco Off-Roadeo access beginning with the 2023 model year.
These epic adventures, complete with invaluable instruction from skilled trail guides, become core memories for anyone who attends. All four Bronco Off-Roadeo experiences –– Texas, Nevada, Utah, and New Hampshire –– let drivers test the capabilities and performance of the Bronco or Sport on miles of curated trails led by off-road experts. Ford calls it the ultimate opportunity to build confidence, expand off-road adventure skills, and explore everything Bronco models have to offer. We say that anyone who has attended can verify this to be true.
The Bronco Sport experience has been available in New Hampshire, Moab, and Texas so far, and in 2023, it will typically rotate to be at several locations at a time. Nevada will likely not host Bronco Sport. More details about the Bronco Sport program can be found on BroncoOffRoadeo.com.
