Bronco Nation Goes Live with the Experts for an Informative Bronco RTR Webinar

There’s been so much buzz about the Ford Bronco RTR since it was unveiled at the Detroit Auto Show earlier this year, and last night we took the buzz further with a LIVE webinar with the team that made it happen. This exclusive webinar was planned to give Bronco Nation Premium Members a behind-the-scenes look at the creation of the Bronco RTR, and we were glad to be able to share this experience with Premium Members from coast to coast.

Moderated by Bronco Nation team members Cameron and Laura, the Bronco RTR webinar was an hour-long conversation all about this latest collaboration between Ford Motor Company and RTR Vehicles. In addition to Cameron and Laura, our panel consisted of two members from each partner team:

From Ford Motor Company:

  • Haley Skiko – Bronco Marketing and Brand Manager
  • Ed Krenz — Bronco Chief Engineer

From RTR Vehicles:

  • Lindsay Ross – RTR Vehicles Design Director “I draw things and make them look cool!
  • Vaughn Gittin Jr. — President and Founder of RTR Vehicles + Formula Drift and Off-Road Champion “And most importantly, professional fun-haver.”

With member questions submitted in the forum and on social media, plus others posted live during the conversation, the panel covered a wide range of topics about the Bronco RTR. They talked about everything from potential pricing and package options, exterior and interior design choices (including that Hyper Lime Green!), and key engineering and technology decisions to ensure the vehicle provides "the right combination of power, immediacy and sustained power, suspension and wheel choices that provide you stability, and clearance and choices that give you durability,” said Ed.

According to Haley, while the partnership between Ford and RTR Vehicles is nothing new, this particular collaboration is an exciting opportunity to bridge a younger, more diverse, sport-focused audience and bring them naturally into the Bronco community. “Being able to not only work with Vaughn's amazing team and see the things they do when they race in the trucks — but then bring that down to a level for those that want to enjoy an everyday lifestyle feel of what Vaughn and his team are able to do in extreme terrains — was just a natural win for everyone on both sides of the team and it was something that was so amazing.”

“To be able to come together to bring style, expression, tonality and just an overall feel of you know you're going to have fun when you're in this,” she continued. “And this is a place that Bronco wants to continue to strive in — giving people that carefree, yet performance- and capable-filled aspect of being able to be an audience member at a level of ‘hey, I can drive this every day’.”

As far as the RTR design goes, Vaughn shared, “one of the biggest pieces of inspiration was the Fun-Runner,” referring to the Bronco Fun-Runner LT unveiled at SEMA 2022.

“This package is designed for plenty of fun for the duration. Again, we're taking that very much enthusiast mindset, and making sure that we had a vehicle that we could go out and have fun with for as long as we wanted,” he said. “Obviously there are variables, right? How hot is it? What are you doing? But it's really, really impressive — they way this vehicle responds, the power it has… and the smile it puts on your face.”

So when and where can you get the Bronco RTR? “Order banks will be opening in Fall of 2026, and the RTR will go on sale Q1 of 2027,” said Haley. “They’ll be available at dealerships, so you can go to the nearest one by you and get one of these awesome vehicles!”

There are still many areas of the Bronco RTR being finalized, with Vaughn teasing another feature possibly being revealed as soon as Easter. “The reality is… we're saving some things, right? We've got a long time, so we’ve got to keep it exciting — but get excited about the price point, everybody," he said.

Vaughn also shared some love with the Nation and this Bronco community we are all a part of.

“I do also want to thank Bronco Nation very much. We see you at Hammers every year and I've been to a couple other cool events — and you guys representing the community and the culture, it's just always a good vibe and so fun when we all get to hang out,” he said. “This is a massive village to make this work. And at the end of the day, we're all inspiring that next generation and current generation to get out and have fun enjoying the wild. And it's something that's a lot bigger than any of us. So thank you to everyone for being a part of that… it's really special.”
