The regular price, according to the Build & Price on Ford’s website is listed at $2,570, but right now, for a limited time, is being offered for only $1,820, a $750 discount. When added to the $29,995 base price of the 2025 Big Bend, it provides an affordable vehicle that is also pretty capable off-road.
The Black Diamond package isn't new to the Bronco Sport but has been upgraded for 2025. In 2024, the price to add-on Black Diamond was $1,295 and included the following:

One caveat is that in order to add this package on to your 2024 Big Bend purchase, you also are forced to add on the $800.00 Class II Tow Package, bringing the actual price to $2,095. The Tow Package is included in the price of the 2025 Black Diamond package.

If you’re looking at purchasing a Big Bend this year, you can’t go wrong with ordering the Black Diamond package, especially if you think you’d ever want to use your Sport explore the back country.
One additional difference for 2025 is that you can’t separately order the factory installed Trailer Tow package like you could in 2024 for $800. The only way to get it on your Big Bend now is by including the Black Diamond package. Also, the Black Diamond graphic package, which was included in the 2024 price is now a separate package for the 2025 Big Bend with a price of $425.
By doing a little internet research on the purchase price and labor costs of after-market bumpers or skid plates, you can quickly see that this is a very good deal.
Big Bend Off-Roading Challenges
I have been off-road with several Big Bend Sport owners and one of the biggest worries they have are recovery points, better tires, and underbody protection. Many have gone on to add these, and when you factor in the purchase price and labor cost, the Black Diamond package can be a great deal with items manufactured and tested by Ford engineers specifically for the Sport.
The other conversation I invariably have with these owners is their need for a vehicle that meets their budget. If there were unlimited resources, many would move to the Badlands Sasquatch or the Bronco but not everyone can easily add the additional 25-30% to the price. Many of these owners consider off-roading to be an occasional activity and use their Sport as their primary mode of transportation, so features like fuel economy and pavement handling are more important.

One final consideration is the aesthetic looks of the Sport. Personally, I like the looks of the 2025 Sports with the Black Diamond and Sasquatch packages. To me, it more closely resembles the look of the Bronco and has more of an off-roading appearance but still handles like a car versus a truck in town and on the highway.
