RMD Garage’s Ralph Holguin and BN’s Jordan have taken us behind the scenes of the creation of the 2022 SEMA build Urban Madness 2.0. The Ford Bronco Badlands has been given incredible touches inside and out, and it's paired with the custom-built utility travel trailer. Watch the full video to hear about the inspiration, see the build in progress, and listen to the details added.
The Bronco 0:00
This is RMD’s first 6th Gen Bronco build for SEMA –– You can check out other generations of Bronco builds, including the original Urban Madness here. Ralph and his team took a 2021 Bronco Badlands in Velocity Blue and turned it into the ultimate urban vehicle.
On the exterior, the team added details everywhere: Gloss black painted side mirrors, body-color fender flares, silver Bronco lettering, embedded badges custom-designed by Ralph on the fenders, and painted taillights.
They outfitted the Bronco with DV8 Offroad’s MTO Series winch front bumper and rear bumper, FS-15 Series rock sliders, and customized roof rack with 53” elite dual light bar. Pelican cases sit atop the rack –– they used the BX90R and BX140R cargo cases. Ford Performance accessories show up in several places on the build, including the modified tube doors, a modified cargo area security drawer, and a tailgate folding table. The wheels are Raceline’s A356 in a black satin finish, dressed in Toyo Tires’ Open Country R/T Trail tires. Bilstein B8 6100 shock absorbers smooth out the ride.
On the interior, the leather is the most eye-catching detail. Once you take that in, you’ll notice other custom elements, like the original seats, deconstructed and built back out in smooth and perforated leathers with an open back. The Bronco logo is laser etched into the seats, and additional luxury touches are everywhere.
The Trailer 17:19
The Urban Madness Trailer is the perfect pull-behind for this Bronco. Fully hand-built by the team, this 5’ x 10’ trailer mixes luxe elements with functional purpose. Boulder 100 solar panels and the Goal Zero Yeti 1500X generator offer power, and a ROAM rooftop awning provides shade. The rear of the trailer opens into a beautiful kitchen area, and the inside of the trailer is roomy and well-designed. On the exterior, a textured coating protects against rock chips and damage.
