Adding a Front Camera to Your Bronco or Sport

Owners of a 2021-23 Bronco that couldn’t get a front camera or Bronco 360 camera with their trim or chose not to upgrade to the previously offered High or Lux packages have found creative aftermarket workarounds for getting an extra line of sight over the dash.

Tim Bartz, Ford Video Guy and internet manager at Long McArthur Ford in Salina, KS, is one owner who recently did so on his Big Bend. Bartz was taking on some tough trails at Super Celebration West in Colorado, and having a forward-facing camera is a great assist when driving steep inclines where you can’t see over the hood.

Watch his video to see the $89 solution (link to the camera he used in the description box).

The easy add-on may even be worth it for order holders of a 2024 model year –– versus the $4,575 High/Lux package required to gain the 360-degree cameras –– if you don’t have interest in all the other goodies that come with the top-of-the-line option. The Ford Bronco front camera could work well for Sport owners who would otherwise be without an “electronic spotter,” as well.

Have you added cameras to your vehicle? What was your solution, and how did you wire it? Let us know below!
