Last week, Ford gave dealers the 2026 order guides for Bronco and Sport, which let them know what to expect for the new model year, and opened the order banks. We covered the changes for Bronco first since Ford updated Build & Price for the bigger SUV shortly after sharing the guides.

While the configurator does not yet reflect the 2026 Sport’s options and pricing, we’ll go over what’s new now so you can be better informed for purchasing. Read on to see the major changes.

Available Models and Packages

For 2026, Ford is continuing with the Big Bend, Heritage, Outer Banks, and Badlands trims. The Black Diamond Off-Road Package and Sasquatch Package are staying put as well, though there are some changes to what is standard in them.

2026 Bronco Sport Bronze Package

Joining the family –– and adding some tasteful glints of the metallic hue to the interior and exterior –– is the Bronze Package.

Like the Black Diamond Off-Road Package, this package is only available for Big Bend. Included in the upgrade are:

  • Bronze Badges
  • Door Handles – Body Color
  • Grille – Ebony Black with Bronze “BRONCO” Lettering
  • Painted Shadow Black Roof
  • Seats – Sport Contour Buckets and Premium Trimmed
  • Front Driver/Passenger Seat Back Map Pockets
  • All Weather Floor Liners with Bronze Accents
  • Steering Wheel – Premium Wrapped with Bronze Stitching
  • 17” Sinister Bronze-painted Aluminum Wheels
  • 225/65R17 All-Season (A/S) Tires

And if you’d like to combine looks plus additional functionality, you can order your Big Bend with both exclusive options. The Bronze + Black Diamond Off-Road Package on Big

Bend supplies you with everything above, swaps the all-season tires for a 225/65R17 all-terrain set, plus includes:

  • Pro Power Onboard - 400W Outlet (Behind Center Console and Cargo Area)
  • Aux Switches and Wiring
  • Front Brush Guard with Integrated Recovery Hooks
  • Black Molded-in-Color Front Bumper with Steel Plates
  • Black Molded-in-Color Rear Bumper
  • Class II Trailer Tow Package with Trailer Sway Control
  • Steel Underbody Protection (Under Engine Skid Plate and Canister Shield)

What’s Missing as Standard from the Packages

If you explored the Black Diamond Off-Road Package in 2025, you may have seen it came with a cargo mat, cargo management system, rubberized second row seatbacks, fender tie downs, an interior grab handle, MIC rear bumper with steel plate, and two D-ring rear recovery hooks.

2025 Bronco Sport Big Bend Black Diamond Package

These have been deleted from the package for 2026, but you can still add them to your order as an option, though some require you to add the Black Diamond Off-Road Package as well. Once Build & Price updates for the Sport, we will compare the costs of 2025 to 2026.

For the Sasquatch Package, available on the Outer Banks and Badlands, the fender tie downs and interior grab handle are deleted as well.

  • Sasquatch Package for Badlands deletes the brush guard and front recovery hooks as standard, but they can be added as options when the package is selected.
  • Sasquatch Package for Outer Banks gain the 12.3” cluster display –– more on that change below.

Bronco Sport Color Changes for 2026

Orange Fury paint color

The Sport gains two colors already elsewhere in the Ford lineup: Orange Fury Metallic Tri-Coat and Space White Metallic. It loses Eruption Green Metallic, introduced for Sport in 2023, and Desert Sand, which it gained in 2024.

Not all configurations can have certain colors: Orange Fury can’t be paired with the Bronze Package or the Bronze + Black Diamond Off-Road Package, for instance.

Downgrades for 2026

The Sport loses some items completely for this upcoming model year, namely the front rain-sensing wipers, wireless charging pad, and universal garage door opener (the latter two deleted over the last couple model years for Bronco, too). The liftgate’s adjustable flood light is now optional on Big Bend with the convenience package, but standard on Heritage, Outer Banks, and Badlands.

The 12.3” cluster display is gone for most orders, giving only the Badlands, Badlands with Sasquatch Package, and Outer Banks with Sasquatch Package this option, versus the 8” cluster display Big Bend, Heritage, and the standalone Outer Banks will receive.

Sport Upgrades for 2026

Like the big Bronco, Sport’s 2026 model year can get the new Ford Connectivity Package.

One year of the Ford Connectivity Package is included with vehicle purchase, and a one-time purchase for 7 years of connection can be optioned. The Ford Connectivity Package includes (features may vary by make and model):

  • Unlimited Wi-Fi Hotspot
  • Audio and Video Streaming
  • Voice assistant
  • Entertainment

Finally, there are some additions and deletions to the dealer installed options.

Added:

  • Console Safe
  • Tool Kit
  • Vented Wheel Arch Moldings
  • Wheel Locks
  • Windshield Sunscreen
  • Base Lighting Package
  • GB-40 Battery Jump Starter & Carrying Case

Deleted:

  • Center Console Vault w/Coded Lock
  • Front and Rear Mudflaps Kits
