So I’m really digging the headlights on the trims of outerbanks and above, but I really only need/can afford the bigbend. Do you guys think i could buy the LED headlights aftermarket? Could it be an available option to configure? Or would it be part of the 200+ accessories you can buy from Ford?

I think "all the above". LEDs are options already right? You know the aftermarket is chomping at the bit for this legend so it's only a matter of time for that. As far as Ford accessories- I think absolutely! I'm after a Badlands BUT I like the Black Diamond grill and headlights better. Black diamond looks closer to the OG Bronco I reckon. My plan is to order a BD grill and headlights to swap out my BL stuff. I'm all in to make this new one look retro with factory parts.

That would be awesome. I’m digging the LED headlights and its not available on the mid package for the BigBend. So swapping them would be ideal.

I bet you will be able to swap out the whole grill area, lights and all. I can't imagine that they would make it any different. The only question would be if the LEDs have a driver that is separate from the grill and is coupled with a unique harness. That will not stop you, just make the work a little more expensive and add a little more work.

It would be worth the extra effort because I would be saving thousands over choosing a higher trim just for a couple of lights.

As long as Ford does not pull a "BMW". The headlights on the Z4 and the M550 are $1200 a pop AND you can't change them out for the other headlights they offered because of the HID driver and light steering control.

I feel the same as the OP but don't see any reason to buy them from Ford. I like the aftermarket for this one.

I wish they made just a standard 7" bucket that could be easily swapped out for one of the aftermarket options. But I'm sure companies like JW Speaker and KC will make aftermarket replacements based on the same proprietary design.

I'd be highly surprised if there was not an easy way to swap LED's on them.

I'm hoping for common sense to prevail and they use 7" buckets so swapping and existing aftermarket works easily.

They won't change the design. Both the regular LED and signature LED headlights have the bar.

I get that but do we know the size/ dimension of the headlamp? My BL isn't going to have it's stock grill for very long. lol

I'd be surprised if it wasn't 7". Maybe someone should throw a tape measure on there when they see one out in public.

I recommend not looking up the price of the Raptor headlights. I almost had a stroke. Ford is proud of those.

Oh yeah, man... I would not fret. LED lights, both head and tail, are HUGE in the Jeep market. Everyone and their brother sells a different style, different look. And many are cheap and still last long-term. If Bronco is anywhere near as big as the Jeep market, you'll have your choice from many different styles.
2023 Two-Door Wildtrak: Reserved 6/13/21, Ordered 11/1/21, Reordered for 2023 model year 10/4/2022, Build date received on 3/2/2023. Scheduled for week of April 24 17(!), 2023. Only took two years.

Yea but lets hope Ford sells the LED’s directly because i’m pretty much set on those and I want to try to keep this vehicle as original as possible. i’m definitely holding onto it till I’m six feet under, and then i’m passing it on to my kid.

Well, the problem is that an aftermarket set will run you $50-$300. From Ford... hell, who knows. My guess is $500 and up.

Maybe just get @Dubya TF 's contact info and buy the ones off his BL, or swap him yours and then you both have what you want ;)

Just looked and you two literally could not be further from each other and still be in the continental US  I'm sure there will be a "Parts" section of this forum before too long, maybe you can do the same swap with someone much closer
