Since I’m enjoying my wait time for my Bronco, I’m putting it to good use. In the process of imagining my build, I’ve come up with a question. I’ve opted for a modular bumper and auxiliary switches. If the standard bumper comes with fog lights that are wired with the headlights, is there a different wiring harness for the modular bumper that does not have a plug in for the fog lights whip? If the answer is no, and the receptacle exists, I’d like to split the light package that I want ( it’s for off-road) and add compliant fog lights for street use.

My understanding is that the wiring harness is in there on High and Lux models. The switch is plug and play and the rest you turn on via FORSCAN. Its a relatively easy evolution. @4x4TruckLEDs.com I think makes pigtails that plug right in for the lights they carry.

I can confirm that the fog light harness exists on the Lux models w/modular bumper. I have a First Edition and put in the Baja Designs fog light modules. The wires are tucked up behind the bumper and as long as you have the fog light enabled headlight switch, you can do it through the factory route. I ended up buying the factory fog light switch, including the one that has the rear fogs as well. I needed a set of Baja to factory wiring adapters (so I didn't have to do any splicing). After swapping out the switch (easy), connecting up the factory harness to the fogs (easy, with the adapter), and doing the Forscan (easy, as long as you have Forscan experience), the fogs work just like they would have from the factory. There are a couple of really good threads that go through the whole process, including all the part numbers.

Some info here (includes the rear fogs info as well)

I watch this thread. I have one of the front and rear fog light switches (And the rear fog light) sitting in my garage for whenever the truck shows up. That seems to be more involved but not terrible.

I would just stick with the base bumper with the fog lights and buy a proper aftermarket bumper to remount/replace the fog lights onto (ya could also use the stock fogs as ditch or rear lights too).

I also have the front/rear fog light switch waiting in my garage. I intend to use the "rear" switch for accessory lights in the wheel wells.
