Window trim rubbing on weatherstrip

Anyone else have this issue? The little plastic window trim piece at the front of the drivers door sits really close to the weather strip and is rubbing on it when opening and closing. It's actually worn a hole in the strip.

The rest of the door seems to be ok with alignment.. but maybe it's off just enough. It does look like the passenger door sits a few mm lower.

Gonna take it by dealer and see what they say. I've only had it a month and never had the doors off, but it was a mannequin... with only 900 miles but who knows what they did with it.

Hi there! Will you send us a message with your VIN and your local Ford dealer? I can look into things on my end.

I ran it by the dealer. Have to bring it back in two weeks and they'll have their body shop look at what needs to be done to align the doors, touch up the chipped paint (on the bottom corner of both doors) and replace the rubber strip on the driver side.
They said they'd probably need to keep it 3-5 working days. Unfortunately they have very few loaners and this is my daily driver. Oui.
Warranty has rental coverage, but it's nearly impossible to find a rental car around here, and if you do it's 3x the warranty coverage for an economy class car.

Guess I get to do some ubering.. that'll be expensive
