Turbo Flutter when accelerating hard, concern or just cool?

As the title reads, when I drive hard and either let off the gas or shift, you hear the turbo flutter, which is cool but possibly concerning.

Light accel nothing, moderate CAI whoosh, but hard is flutter

Ford tune
CP-E intercooler
Mishimoto Charge Pipes
Turbosmart BOV
Volant CAI

So again, should I be concerned or is it fine?

If you were so concerned about it you probably wouldn’t have done your mods.

So it is fine and cool. 😎

Not many people on this board perform engine mods....

Got a boost gauge that is graduated , might be able to see what the boost is doing, I'm guessing the wastegate might be fluttering.

Ill look for a proper one to install, take a look

Shame theres no aftermarket wastegate actuator specifically for our girls, could use a universal one and hope the ford tune adapts

I have a similar setup on my 2.3L except for the CAI. Have not encountered the flutters. Just the whoosh sounds from the BOV.

My old 6.0l Power Stroke would make that noise if you let off after hard acceleration. It was pushing air back through the air filter. So maybe the BOV is too small or not set correctly. The way I fixed mine was to pull the motor and replace it with a 12 valve, but that might be a tad extreme. Lol

I'd be happy with a Coyote swap, or even a 3v
