I had taken the 2025 Bronco outerbanks to fix the 60 side of the rear seat not folding down. Seems like they fixed the issue.

Now I have 2 new issues:
When people sit in the rear seat, the red X indicator does not come on. If they wear seat belts, I see a green check indicator. Anyone experiencing this ? Fix ?

The AC vent barely blow air in the back. Never noticed since this was the first hot day of 90+ , kids pointed out no air in back. Any one experience this? Easy fix ?

I know I can take it to dealer, just trying to avoid the hassle.

Thanks

Does the indicator come on if they take the seatbelts off? that is when the red X shows for me. but if I open the back door that darn check rear seat thing chimes when I shut the Bronco off, so there is no weight sensor in the back it just uses context clues to determine if there is someone back there.
I have a MY22 so no rear AC vents but I don't understand the need, the bronco is a pretty small cabin and the AC blows well, my Kids (19-22) are often complaining about how cold it is in there, even with their hoodies (in 95 deg), also we are from Texas so heat is kinda normal for us, we can hit 100 in February, so we might be immune to it. 😁

Like Jakob1972 said about the seatbelt contacts, the indicator/chime only goes off if the rear door is opened a few min before starting or while the truck is running.

Prior to MY 25, the rear vents (under the front seats) only worked if the floor vents were on. When Ford moved them to the back of the center console, they may still be hooked up to the floor vents at the AC unit. Try activating the floor vents to see if that helps.
