Scratched rear window (soft top)

I have a Bronco I bought last week and a few days later, when the Sun was hitting the back window, I saw the whole window covered in scratches. It looks like when they cleaned it (dealer charged 300 extra) , they used a harsh rag that left all these scratches. I went back to the dealer, they said they could have received it like that, then they said the cleaning people stated it would be difficult to avoid scratching the plastic. If you look to the left in the pic where its shade, you see its not noticable but when you look to the right with sun light hitting it, it looks horrible.
Im really frustrated. They said the service dept will fill out a ticket but unlikely Ford will give me a new one. Im just like 'wow', I even paid an extra 300 for the cleaning/detail. The sides are like that as well but because they wave, its not as noticable. Anyone with advice?
Note: bottom left of plastic window even has directions embedded in the plastic.

It’s not Ford that messed up here, it’s the dealer - they are the ones that need to make it right. At a minimum, I would demand the $300 back.

Yeah I agree, its the dealer so why would Ford replace it? Ill mention the 300 back. What bothers me so much is its a new friggin vehicle coming with all those scratches in the plastic. Its upsetting I didnt notice it until I backed the vehicle in where direct sunlight hit it, otherwise I probably would not have known how bad the scratches are.
Dealer unlikely to do anything beacuse they are passing the buck making out like it could've happened before they cleaned it.

The dealer charged $300 to deliver it clean. I would think that was a minimum expectation for delivery of a new car. Not an add-on.

Try using one of those plastic restorers maybe? I think Plastix is what it’s called. Had a scratched dash cluster once and used that stuff and it worked wonders. I’d argue with that dealer to correct it since they obviously didn’t follow Fords directions, which is never use a dry cloth, use microfiber and keep it wet to clean the windows.

Ill look into plastix thanks. Most likely will be arguing with the dealer, they dont want to take responsibility. The salesman even said it will eventually get messed up anyhow.

I mean…eventually the paint will fade too, but if those MFs scratched my paint they’d be fixing it.

Eventually, the tires will wear out, so we swapped yours out with some bald ones to save you the wait.

yeah exactly.
The plastic will fade eventually, maybe 5 years so Ill have to wait until it fades to feel good about the scratches I guess.

Knew I wasn’t crazy! I did use plastix for my dash cluster. Worked like a charm. Heard good things about plexus as well for cleaning soft too windows. I think either could definitely help.
