Today while undercoating my Bronco I noticed some rust forming on the rear of the frame where the strut mounts are. Anyone else in the rust belt have this issue? Mines a 2022.

I took mine to Ziebart right after I got it. So for no rust. Mine is 18 months old.

Everyone that lives in the rust belt has this issue. The undercarriage of the Bronco is a “Swiss Cheese” world for corrosion. The only way to prevent this is winter storage. Luckily a lot of the body is aluminum.
A friend of mine shipped his 12 year old Toyota 4 Runner to Hawaii and it failed inspection due to undercarriage corrosion. He had to scrap it.

It's just a weird spot because there's no weld right there. Usually vehicles that are only a few years old here in the rust belt rust at the welds not in smooth areas.

Aluminum corrodes. My old Land Rover had holes in the body from corrosion.Bronco bodies will still rot out.

Yah aluminum doesn’t like salt either, but it sure handles water/moisture better. Kinda depends on the alloy grade and coatings.
Nothing lasts forever.
