I have a 2022 Wildtrak with a weird rear view issue. The mirror goes almost completely dark when the soft top is retracted and the windows rolled down. Apparently, the mirror sensors see this setup as bright headlights . I will eventually get around to having the dealer look at it, but was curious if anyone else had seen this issue.

Not sure what mirrors are involved? I have a base though. I only use my exterior mirrors, rear headrests take up most of the view. Got nothing if it's the interior one...

Does it not have a button to turn off the auto dimming? I haven't had a ford auto-dimming mirror but all the others I've used had a button to turn off the auto behavior.

It's funny how I have a Base as well and can't think if we had auto dimming (most likely not), or that little flip.
Anyways, wanted to comment because I don't know how anyone drives with the rear headrests up. Unless someone is in the back seat, those headrests are always flipped forward. Visibility is another reason I haven't bought the soundbar yet. They takes up even more.

I have never seen a way to turn this off. I will look tonight. Most likely it is a sensor that is bad, so once I have Ford look at it I can report back.
