Picked up a 2025 Heritage this past weekend. Once we got on the interstate we heard a rattling going on. The rattle is coming from the front of the vehicle and most of the time sounds like the passenger side to center near the firewall area. I thought it was the windshield washer lines because they make a similar sounds when tapped on. I used some clothe electrical tape and did not change anything. Then I thought maybe the hood prop, so I put some cloth tape on it and it fit’s snuggly now but I still have this rattle.

i know I can take it to a dealer but I do not have hours upon hours to sit there and wait on it.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated it

Finding the source of a rattle is like looking for a needle in a haystack.. Hopefully it's a rogue bolt or a rogue plastic clip in the engine compartment that eventually works it's way out..

I assume bringing it to a dealer would be pointless as they'd probably test drive it once, say they didn't hear the rattle, and send you on you way..

Good luck, I hope you find it..

Exactly - you take a day free from work, the tech gets to it late afternoon spend 10 minutes on a test drive and throws the keys back at ya an hour later and says we could not replicate. Meanwhile I loose a vacation day I could had spent with the family.

Hi there. I’d like to assist with your concern. Could you please send us a DM with your VIN and mileage so I can look into this further?

I just had a problem similar to this fixed, but on a Maverick.
The A pillar bolt was not secured at the base of frame. So most of the time I went over a bump on the road there was an awful rattle from the front area under/around dashboard.
Took it in to my dealership and they fixed it. Smooth ride now.

Best of luck.

As discussed in the DM I will take it to the dealer eventually. Just gotta find the time to do it. Be nice if I could just drop it off and they could take me home….

I have a 23 Badlands. It developed a front rattle. Turned out to be the bolts were loose on the front skid plate. Guess they had to loosen them during an oil change and forgot to tighten them.

I guess I need to give that a check. I have not looked under it yet. Do sports have skids?
