Provided jack not tall enough for sasquatch?

I went to test the provided jack today because I prefer to test things out before I need them. I have a Sasquatch package. I put jack in location according to instructions and cranked up all the way. Not tall enough. Do I have the wrong jack? Is there another jack that Ford should have put in the vehicle that I don't have? Definitely a head scratcher.

I've heard that the jack Ford provided is a joke, especially with SAS. I've heard it is very unstable. But, I've not tried mine yet.

Lmao, talk about hindsight being 20/20!!! Did it lift the truck at all?!?! I personally never use scissor jacks like that, as they all suck. I have a yuge floor jack in my shop, and if it's the side of the road issue, I got the roadside assistance. The squatch is my wife's anyway, and she ain't a gonna be a changin no tires... Lol. Not exactly known for her mechanical aptitude. Of course, I didn't marry her for that!

This is why I try things out first... There is an extension that goes on top that adds about 3.5" to the top. The piece is easily overlooked. This actually lifts tire off the ground.

That's a terrible idea, when do we start?

I knew it could be done since we had a couple of flats on the last run and at least one of them was a Sasquatch. We had no problems jacking it up high enough to get the tires off the ground. Just make sure you know where the jack points are located. We had one person who tried to jack up their Bronco from the wrong spot and couldn't get the tire off the ground.

The jack points have the arrow cutout (like in my first picture)
