So I was at the dealership today getting routine maintenance on the Bronco. My service advisor, informed me that there was an advanced notice recall regarding the Sasquatch, Bilstein shocks. Mind you this is an advanced notice of recall, but one is coming. The recall information as follows: #25S01. Let‘s see how long this takes.

Hopefully with this pending recall, the solution is updating all four corners. Maybe the better quality Fox or aftermarket Bilstein‘s.

I have take off sasquatch shocks on my 21 Bronco and won't qualify for recall or get any info by my VIN. What is the issue that they are being recalled for so I can monitor them and start saving for the next upgrade I guess?
Thanks.

I'm on the list as well. It appears a remedy won't be available until Q3 2025.

By Q3 I will have 50k miles on these shocks and will be time to replace them anyway. But what if they fail before then?

I am at 40K and was thinking the same thing. But I am just gonna do what I do. It is covered. They are covering all the way back to the early ones. Back to 9/23/2020. Even if they replace with the same ones until the solution is out. That would work. Maybe us down in the SW won’t be as prone to the the corrosion, due to our dryer conditions. Covers almost 150 K vehicles.

The above notice seems to indicate deliveries and demos of in-stock Broncos will be affected… Read SERVICE ACTION section…

citing “new vehicles storage guidelines” can’t be good…

Reading that...my first thought was all those on the lot will get fixed before the average consumer rig will. $$$$

LOL! I was going to say mine's already halfway done! My right rear reservoir jumped ship and was replaced under warranty like 6 months ago. Of course...they probably replaced it with another that has the same issue, because they hadn't admitted to themselves that there was a recall-able issue at that point.
