Oil Leak??

I have a '22 Bronco, 2.3 litre, and I was getting ready to do an oil change. I have 7500 miles on it. When I took the plastic shield off, I noticed oil wet on the bottom of the axle, and wet oil area up by the engine! Not coming from the drain plug, that was dry. There was also dried oil stain on the underside of the plastic cover. Anyone experience this?? Is this a common problem? Obviously I have to call Ford and bring it in, but I figured I'd ask here so I might be prepared for what they might try to tell me. I'm not sure if this is the same source of the hissing, dripping noise I've heard a couple of times after shutting it off?
And I won't bring up the funky braking issues I have as well, let's just deal with this oil leak, anyone know what it could be? I'll include some pics. I hope I don't need a new engine. Thanks for reading!

Is that coming from the turbo? Looks like the oil return line from the turbo in the picture.
I can’t remember, but wasn’t there a recall or TBS for the turbo?
Hope they get you straightened out soon.

Honestly, I'm not real familiar with these engines, so I couldn't really tell where it was originating from, with the obscured view from beneath. I couldn't see anything from up top looking in either. I'm also not aware of the recall, but hopefully they will rectify it. Soonest appt available is Monday at 7am🙁 so it will be a long weekend...

It all depends on where it is coming from.

There have been several reported leaks from the front differential carrier assembly, but this definitely seems more like engine oil and not different gear oil.

Yeah, I figured that, just wanted to see if this was more common then I was aware of, and if there were any recalls specific to this symptom. Thanks for commenting👍🏻

This is not a common problem, the vehicle is practically new yet, so I wouldn’t second guess anything.
I would set up an appointment at your local or favorite Ford Dealership and have them fix it, there would be no reason why this leak wouldn’t be covered under the vehicles warranty plan, you might as well take full advantage of the vehicles warranty because before you know it, it’ll be gone. 😘

Update: not much. I made an online appt last week(Fri) and later that day I received a message that they could not keep that appt because this was a more involved diagnosis and they needed to have the proper technicians available. They said they would call back to schedule a new appt.
As of yesterday, I still haven't heard back from Galpón Ford. I called again and spoke to someone to see if they forgot about me, and they said they were still waiting for approval(?) on a drop off appt. There is a waiting list...! Yikes. I said my engine is leaking oil, and she says she understood. Am I supposed to just keep driving it like this? If the engine seizes, is that on them?? I still need to get to work? Frustrating you say the least...

Okay, relax, it is just a slight oil leak, the engine is not going to lose a significant amount of oil in a few weeks. If you have that much concern just check the oil level every few days to get an understanding of the level drop; I'll bet you'll not even notice a change in oil level.

There was a short few day window where a few thousand 2.3L engine blocks had a machining issue and potential for an oil leak, but it was confined to just December 3rd through 5th 2022 Bronco production. Based on your production date you have no concerns about that specific oil leak issue.

There are millions of cars with engines that have worse oil leaks than the one you have and those cars have no risk of engine siezing.
