Noise when reversing

I have had my 2022 Bronco Sport Big Bend since late October. When reversing in cooler, damp weather there is a noise. It's as though I am reversing with a hand brake on (but I'm not!) Ford dealer tells me it's common among Ford vehicles, particularly in cooler, damp weather (which is 6+ months a year where I live!) They did not offer to fix it. Just shrugged it off. Pissed off! Can anyone tell me if they are experiencing this?

Kind of like a soft high pitched whine? Pretty common for reverse gears

My F150 does the same thing.

My wife’s Sport does the same thing. At the dealer right now and they told me everything is adjusted properly and that they just cleaned off some dust. I’m not confident that they fixed the problem or that they even see it as a problem. @fordmotorcompany

update: the dealer said that since they stopped using asbestos in brake pads this has been an issue. Apparently it’s the dust that was the problem. They cleaned it off and it eliminated the noise. They said they would clean them off every time I bring it in.
