New Engine Nightmare 2024 Wildtrak

In Dec. I was driving home from FL less than 2.5 weeks after buying my new Wildtrak. The check engine light goes on about an hour from home. I call the dealership closest to me (not where I purchased) the next morning and I get a run around for over 2 months from them to get my vehicle in to be looked it. The check engine light continues to go off and on periodically. In Feb they can get my vehicle in but refuse a loaner because I did not buy from them. I go over get my Bronco and drive 2hrs to the dealer where I bought it. They have my vehicle for 6 weeks and give it a new engine. I get it back and the steering wheel is vibrating, the whole drivers seat is vibrating, I call the dealership and they say bring it back if it doesn't stop. Well it doesn't stop so 2 days later I take off from work and drive it another 2hrs. Sure enough it's an engine component they brought over from the old engine to the new one per Ford's instructions. So another 2 weeks and I just get it back 3 days ago. They repaired it but never drove it at all to check the repair. Now I wait. This has taken the joy out of this vehicle for me. The way the local dealer behaved, making payments for a vehicle I couldn't even see for a total of 8 weeks of the 11 I owned it.

Am I alone in this 💩 show?

Ok, is the windshield and A pillar cracked? And what happened with the engine? Or is the roof cracking across the top, leading edge

Yes, windshield and A pillar are both cracked.
The engine issues from the first engine are still persisting. Around 22mph the engine sounds like it is in neutral, revving but not producing power without a delay.
There is also a strong audible vibration at that speed coming the engine area. At 47 mph there is vibrating and shaking to the point the front seats feel like a Rollercoaster ride. At 55 the vibration is worse, hesitation from the engine. At 83 the rattling from the engine is so bad it can be heard over the radio. I have heard numerous metal sounding pops in the past 2 weeks since I last got it back from the dealership. Idk. What is making those noises and honestly I am terrified to find out at this point. Could the frame be cracking underneath? Could this be from the way the dealer removed the body from the frame to replace the engine last month? Is this Bronco on a super secret self destruction mission? 🤣 I wish I knew.
The front passenger airbags are bulging at the pillar point.
Imo there is not a fix known to man that would make a cracked A pillar okay. I have been in contact with Ford and the dealership today. I'm hopping mad. I am a teacher and I have to give my students state testing this week. I cannot miss another day of school (for which i won't get paid) for this nonsense.

I bet they didn’t support the body correctly when it was separated from the frame. That would explain the cracking of both the pillar and glass along with the bulging of the air bags. I actually watched my dealership do this procedure on an F350 to work on the engine. They had these reinforcement rails to support the cab while the frame and bed stayed on the ground. They had to have messed up while they did it. And like we had spoken about when you first posted, why not replace the whole engine?

They told me they replaced the engine with a brand new one from Ford. I waited weeks for it to arrive from Detroit in bad weather. The dealership had the vehicle for 5 weeks at that point. They said Ford required them to use a few "inconsequential" parts from the previous engine that Ford, sight unseen deemed were not problematic. New engine + some old parts = same problem after a few miles.
Back to the shop. Another few weeks and some new parts to replace some old parts and within 18 miles, same issue.
Now the cracked windshield, now the cracked pillar.
I am not knowledgeable about cars, they know this. I also do not have the time to babysit my vehicle. I have to be at work. I don't have a mechanic friend or an advocate who can stand in for me and baby sit professionals.
A 4hr round trip is an inconvenience enough. I had to trust that they were doing the right thing otherwise they know I will be back. They don't want to see me every week, trust me.

I am livid at this point with Ford and the dealership. I'm pretty sure the cracker pillar alone is a TN lemon law instant high score. Having my vehicle over 30 days was a strike against them as well. I am at my absolute wits end with this crap.

Back to the dealership again on Wens of this week. To get another Ford escape loaner for God knows how long. I just made another payment on this thing. Ford Motor Company opened a case, whoop de doo, a meaningless bandaid to make me feel they care.

The dealership is saying it might need another new engine. Less than 1400 miles after the first engine

Another missed day of work. Another 4+ hrs of drive time.

Very frustrating situation .. With a brand new car.
Keep us posted on how this all works out. Good luck!
