New Engine Nightmare 2024 Wildtrak

In Dec. I was driving home from FL less than 2.5 weeks after buying my new Wildtrak. The check engine light goes on about an hour from home. I call the dealership closest to me (not where I purchased) the next morning and I get a run around for over 2 months from them to get my vehicle in to be looked it. The check engine light continues to go off and on periodically. In Feb they can get my vehicle in but refuse a loaner because I did not buy from them. I go over get my Bronco and drive 2hrs to the dealer where I bought it. They have my vehicle for 6 weeks and give it a new engine. I get it back and the steering wheel is vibrating, the whole drivers seat is vibrating, I call the dealership and they say bring it back if it doesn't stop. Well it doesn't stop so 2 days later I take off from work and drive it another 2hrs. Sure enough it's an engine component they brought over from the old engine to the new one per Ford's instructions. So another 2 weeks and I just get it back 3 days ago. They repaired it but never drove it at all to check the repair. Now I wait. This has taken the joy out of this vehicle for me. The way the local dealer behaved, making payments for a vehicle I couldn't even see for a total of 8 weeks of the 11 I owned it.

Am I alone in this 💩 show?

Wow I am sure there is a long story here. Please share more details to what was the issue and what part they reused in the new engine that is causing the continued issues. Sorry to hear. Did they provide any insight as to the cause? Was there some kind of catastrophic failure involved?

No catastrophic failure. I am attaching the documents from the dealer after the 1st and 2nd time they had to repair.

With my 23 F150, which was in the shop for 70+ days for a software issue, Ford refunded back one payment (financed through Ford Credit… if you also are financing the Ford, might be worth asking…

According to the service notes - the vehicle had a P0303 code from 53 miles of its life. I think you have a really good case for a Lemon Law action…
- 2023 Raptor / Shadow Black / MGV (DOB 8/30/23)

I would think that if they were gonna have to do all that work and replace the long block, they would just replace the whole engine. Instead of dumping old parts with new parts?

You should have bought a Toyota. Hope it gets fixed. Why are folks still buying a truck from a dealer so far from home?

Toyota is having massive engine failures. The more advanced the electronics and the more exotic materials and designs get, the more issues these new vehicles have. When are they gonna start making less sophisticated vehicles?

I just posted an issue (dead paperweight 2024 Wildtrak) after 3 weeks. Happened Saturday. No mods, electrical spaz and then dead stick. Beginning my repair journey today.

Doing that now. The problem is still persisting and compounded by a spontaneous windshield crack starting at the seal this morning

Oh, apologies. I have a post on my issue as well. In my case, the culprit was a bad battery. Replaced and no issues. I did tell them about body panel alignment issues and they have the Bronco again for those.

It just keeps getting worse. I go out this morning and the f**king vehicle is cracked. Ford itself gave me a case number for the other issues. I could have opened a case myself. This is bull$hit! How the heck does this happen??? 1000040144.jpg1000040149.jpg

Back to the dealership again on Wens of this week. To get another Ford escape loaner for God knows how long. I just made another payment on this thing. Ford Motor Company opened a case, whoop de doo, a meaningless bandaid to make me feel they care.

The dealership is saying it might need another new engine. Less than 1400 miles after the first engine

Another missed day of work. Another 4+ hrs of drive time.

Ok, is the windshield and A pillar cracked? And what happened with the engine? Or is the roof cracking across the top, leading edge
