So I’m curious if anyone else has had this issue. I keep losing internet. I originally noticed it when trying to listen to the Sirius Internet Channels (700s) then I noticed the weather app in Navigation won’t work either. This issues happens more often then not. It never seems to connect unless I’m at home on WiFi. I’m hoping anyone can provide inside before I take it in, because I’m sure the dealership wont have a clue.

Good luck with the help desk. I've spent over 2 hours on the phone with them and still not a 100% solution. My weather stopped working. Had been working with zero issues until the last update. Sometimes it's there and then it's not. Last week it shutdown and didn't come back. I called the help desk and the first thing the did was have me do a ford connect reset. no help. I found out 2 days later that doing this shuts down your modem and you will not get connected. Finally after 2 hours, can show you the call times on my phone, I was told I had to connect to Ford Pass to get it to work. I did that, still not connected. To this point my weather is hit or miss. Sometimes it's on, most of the time it's off. I checked my script and it good until June 2026. Some day when I have nothing better to do i will call the desk back. During these two hours on the phone I was transferred 10-12 times. Once I got sent to Ford Canada help desk. I asked why I was sent there, the guy on the phone said I probably didn't give them my correct address. I only had to do that 3 different times. Couldn't have been the agent made a mistake. At no time did any of the agents ask their tech teams if the last update is causing issues.
Bottom line the only thing that helped me was connecting to Ford Pass. As I said above it still does not work all the time.
One question I have is the weather service a satellite or tower service? If it is satellite then I don't get why it doesn't work. Then again Sirius can get blocked by mountains, etc. I live in flat land MI so I find it hard to think it would or could get blocked.
I hope you get a more knowledgeable person on the Ford Social Media Team and don't get transferred as many times as I did. I also hope you get folks that look for solutions and just don't read their script.
Ford needs to improve their desks. It is very frustrating dealing with them. From these calls they get a D-. Would give them an F, but there was one guy that helped with the Ford Pass and admitted the Ford Connect reset is the last thing to do.
