Has anyone had issues with their keypad not working? Mine works fine most of the time but every once in a while, it won't take the code to unlock the door or even lock the door. I usually leave my fob in the center console and have always been able to unlock the door with my phone. Hopefully I don't leave the phone and the fob in the Bronco one of these days😕

I don’t have the keypad, but where do you park the vehicle, and what times are you generally occupied with other matters? Asking for a friend.

I opted not to get the keypad as it was an add-on… I find the FordPass app has vastly improved its locking and unlocking capability, and BONUS, if you have an iPhone and Apple Watch, you can lock it with your watch as long as the app is running on your phone… soooooooooooo… if your phone is in the car (but the app is running in background) you can lock/unlock with your watch…

A year would be a good start , the battery will die after awhile.

Good morning. Will you send us a private message with your VIN and mileage? I can look into things on my end.

I’ve had this issue also, both times I was at a store (Walgreens and the mall) and I did leave my phone in the bronco. I also leave my fob in the console. I had to borrow a persons phone to call my wife 200 miles away to unlock it for me. I don’t know if something at those stores had something to do with it or what. It’s almost like the signal gets blocked. So I def. Take my phone when I’m at either one of those places now. I’ve owned many fords with outside keypad ranging in years 2001 thru 2022 and never had an issue. I do know that I have a lot of trouble even getting it to unlock compared to past vehicles. Always before i could put the code in and have it unlocked before a person could get their fob out. My bronco isn’t that way. 2023 Wildtak.

They earlier key pads were wired the Bronco is a wireless key pad. I wonder if that has something to do with it.
Been using these key pads since the late 80s but my most recent one with Key pad is my 2004 F250. We did buy my son a 2016 Lincoln MKC but he only had it for a few weeks before a deer decided to run into his door and set off the airbags and total the car, never got to use the key pad on that one.

Seems like it only happens at Home Depot, wonder if some kind of wireless signal is causing the problem

Yes that is a distinct possibility

I have the same problem with my 2021 Outer Banks 4d. When it doesn't work, I can usually revive it by pressing the buttons to lock it, then it wakes up and I can unlock using my code. I am concerned that one day it will no longer "wake up" and let me in. Does the keypad have a replaceable battery?

Sort of ,not supposed to be replaceable but if try hard enough you could, then try to put it back together.
