As I embarked on my journey with my brand-new Bronco, fresh off the assembly line in Dearborn, Michigan, I was filled with immense excitement and anticipation. Although I was one of the unfortunate ones to encounter some issues, I chose to view them as opportunities for growth and improvement. The problems I faced, including a leaky front differential, unexplained coolant loss, reverse camera failure, hood latch sensor failure, and roof panel misalignment, were mostly resolvable, and I was more than willing to work through them. However, the persistent challenge I faced for 22 of the 28 months I owned my dream car was the recurring failures of the screen, radio, and USB. Despite the dealerships' best efforts, including replacing the APIM twice and attempting to reprogram it, the issue persisted. I was assured that Ford was diligently working on a software fix, but as the days turned into months, my patience began to wane. Tomorrow, I will be surrendering my vehicle to the dealer under the lemon law, marking the end of a chapter. As I embark on this new journey, I am filled with a sense of hope and optimism, knowing that every setback is an opportunity for growth. I am grateful for the connections I made along the way, and I wish everyone in the Bronco Nation all the best on their adventures. Who knows what the future holds? Perhaps our paths will cross again, and we can share more stories of perseverance and triumph.
Take care,
Bronco Fred
