howdy folks - 21 Big Bend here with just over 2,000 miles now...

we're noticing a "hollow thud" noise coming from the rear of the bronco when hitting a rough patch of pavement or pothole, etc. It's sounds kinda like when you slam the doors... but only happens when we drive over a pretty decent bump and not all the time.

is this just the way the bronco is? any thoughts as to quick fixes? we know its not the jack bouncing around FWIW...

thanks a bunch - i know diagnosing sounds online can be odd!

Welcome to the Nation!
I would start with the spare tire see if it is loose. It could be a loose/ bad shock or possibly something in the back. My sister once took her car in for a thud noise she heard every time she turned a corner. The mechanic found the tennis balls we put in her trunk.LOL
