Hard top noise and cold feet rant.

I joined the forum solely to complain about this with the hopes of ford noticing. My ultra loud hard top sucks but for $55k I would like to be warm. Also, when you have to have your heat set to just your feet it blows out of my A-pillar vents as well.
Also, I have been in the auto industry for 15 years, drove many hard and soft top wranglers and convertibles so I am not being ultra picky. never had a heating issue like this. Expecting my Bronco to be at least as good as a wrangler is reasonable IMHO. /End rant.
Anyone else have similar heat issues? I know the hard top is a common complaint.

Well that's a new one.

No heat problems here. Usually end up turning heat down during my hour commute, and always run it floor & defrost at same time.
No hard top problems either, because I have a soft top. And to be honest, it's not that loud, so I can't imagine why you say the hard top is so loud. Loose latch? loose screws in back?

Iv glance at the hardware and everything seems fine. Beginning to wish I had a soft-top.

I am really hoping the dealer can adjust or fiddle with the top to help with my complaints.

My 2D Outer Banks is also louder than my 2018 JKU. I have the rack on the roof and know it will be noisy. I'll pull it off and see how the wind noise is. I don't notice anything until I hit about 60mph...

Saw the solution for you not getting enough heat. Find a video of a fire burning. You can play that on the screen in the Bronco. You will mentally feel warmer, so you will physically be warmer. No...Yes. :)

I have a hard top 2dr and am having the exact same problems. It is literally ice cold by my legs and feet even with the so called heat blowing on full blast.
As far as noise with the hard top, I also have a popping noise on the passenger side that sounds like a loose shifting top. Just silly stuff right now.

Heat works fine, on Sub Zero days, I find it helps to hit the Recirculate Button but that just so I can turn the blower speed down...

As far as the top noise, I found that putting a thin layer of silicone grease on the alignment pin and contact point the noise had gone away 100%... I was getting the noise over the drivers left shoulder at the b-pillar, where the alignment pin is, I also found that if I undid that latch the noise would stop, leading me to believe it was not because the top was loose, then I found a thread on one of the forums suggesting " NAPA Sil Glide ", happened to have it in the garage, that I used on my Jeeps to stop leaks on the hardtop, and ..... Problem solved lightly coated the pin and contact points with it wiped excess off with a rag so far no more clicking squeeking noise

This pin your speaking of,
“I don’t have a Bronco to look at”
Is it just a metal alignment pin that shrink wrap tube could be slid over it ?
or not what the issue is ?

Take it to the dealer. When put on the floor that's where the air should go. Someone I saw previously reported an issue with the blend door causing outside air to be mixed with the hot air even though the temperature was set all the way to hot.

Took the soft top through a strong winter storm in Big Bear, no heat issues, no real noise issues so far, one minor issue I will post in a different thread about the side rear window. When I woke up to a snowed in car that had a lot of snow on the soft top, there were no issues whatsoever. Heat works just fine at keeping everyone toasty.

I have a soft top 4 door. Plenty of 0-20 degree days here, always have to turn my heat down. My feet literally start to sweat if I do not.

Found it, this guy mentioned his bronco HVAC wasn't working right and was going back to the dealer for repair.
