Had my 2DR Bronco for a month or so and I just noticed the top is buckling. Kind of like a bubbling in the texture. Is this normal, or part of the hard top issues everyone is experiencing? It's happening on both sides of center. @Ford Motor Company

I hope you drove it to the dealership before you posted. There isn’t even a question in that question

Not sure why, but when I downloaded to forum it gave me a message that it didn't download. Then it downloaded a smaller JPEG. ???

I'll take that as "definitely a problem". I'll text picture to dealer and then figure out warranty issues from there.

I've seen snake skinning, but not bubbling. Definitely take it in for a new top under warranty.

UPDATE #1 HARD TOP BUCKLING NORMAL OR WARRANTY

Thought I'd provide update to this issue and the process that took place.

I texted picture to dealer (my saleman), and also received message from FORD (on this thread) to provide VIN and dealer information. I provided VIN via private conversation. My salesman texted me and passed the picture and issue on to his service advisor.

After receiving a request from FORD for additional information on vehicle, I got a message that they opened a claim and provided a claim number. The message also stated they would be providing this information to the SUV team for further review. I texted the claim number to the dealer, and scheduled an appointment for them to look at hard top.

I then got a call from the SUV team wanting to discuss the issue, and what I was looking for in terms of correcting the situation. I emailed back and indicated I was looking for a replacement top, if FORD determines the top was defective or sub par quality.

I went to the dealer and the service advisor took a few pictures. Only took a few minutes, since the claim number had already been opened.

I got a text from service advisor that my replacement top was ordered and would arrive in a week or so.

The whole process was quick, painless and super customer focused. I've had some bad experiences with FORD and dealers in the past, but if this is the new direction FORD is taking customer service, then it's definitely a step in the right direction.

Kudos to @Ford Motor Company and my dealer, Gary Yeoman Ford Daytona for handling this issue in a super professional and customer service oriented way.

I'll provide another update when the top arrives and I can check the quality.

It's a Bronco, they're supposed to buck(le)! Just kidding, sorry to hear you're having an issue, and hoping it's not a broader or more widespread issue.

Encourage all to check my pic and see if they have any issues similar. If so, let FORD know about it. I wouldn't have discovered unless I was trying to install ceiling hoist to remove top and noticed. Only 220miles and a month old, so we concluded it came from the factory with this issue.

If you're using a phone, tablet, or laptop you can pinch and zoom with your fingers. Or, if you're on a desktop computer, you may be able to mouse-click and drag a marquee as you hold down the shift, alt, control, option, or command keys. It depends on whether you're using a Mac or a PC.
Chris here. I drive a 2-door Velocity Blue 2023 Ford Bronco Badlands with Sasquatch, Lux, a 2.7L V6, and an automatic transmission. It’s fun.
