I have a 2022 bronco sport badlands with the 2L Turbo
It has around 50,000 miles on it but out of warranty since mexico it is fewer miles and 3 years.

I started to have this noise that best explained as when your tire rolls over GRAVEL. It does it when i take off or if i activate 4x4. So when not in 4x4 it sometimes does it. In normal mode it does not do any noise while driving down the road just initital roll.

This leads me to believe it is from the diff? Still i think this is horrible life span on the unit for only being driven in the city. Assuming it is the diff. Monday is the appointment at Ford.

Anyone else hear of such an issue? Can it be something else? I mean if it is the diff, that will get expensive fast on something that should have lasted.

Only think i remember i i pulled a branch out of the rear wheel well and brake. but i dont see any damage so i do not think it caused any damage unless we have vacum hubs?

Can you tell if it the front making the noise, or rear? I "think" I've read about some F-150's with a similar problem, and it was the IWE's (no idea if the Bronco has those).

Have you had the fluids changed in the transmission and differentials?

It is definitely the rear or at least that is where i perceive it to be.

I have taken it to FORD for the 10,000 , 20,000, and 30,000 miles service and now i am due for the 40,000 mile service.
FORD Mexico give 3 years, 60000 km (38,000 miles) Had it for 2 years. No warranty now.

The transmission nor diff oil has ever been changed

Check the service schedule and if it was supposed to have been done and they failed to do it and it may have caused any issue, you may have some recourse with Ford.

Hi there! I can look into your Bronco's noise concern on my end. To get started, could you please send a private message over with the name/location of your local Ford dealer and your Bronco's VIN?

I picked up the car, i had told them about the technical bulletin about the noise and it is now fixed.

They did the usual service and for the RDU they changed the oil and added new oil and the friction modifier.

No more noise,

Also put it in 4x4, no longer does the noise.

All good but not sure if it is a perm. fix or a temp fix
