Front camera intermittent blackout

Has anyone dealt with this before?

My 2022 Wildtrak has had an intermittent front‑camera issue for years. I first noticed it when I’d shift into reverse and the front portion of the top‑down view would be blacked out. I eventually confirmed it was the front camera and mentioned it during a service visit while the Bronco was still under warranty. Of course, it worked perfectly at the dealership, and they said they’d need to keep it for 3–4 days to diagnose it. I couldn’t leave it that long, so I just lived with it since it worked part of the time.

After the rear‑camera recall was done, the front camera suddenly worked almost 100% of the time again. Now it’s back to being intermittent. It behaves like a short — it can go from working to not working (or vice versa) during the same drive without cycling the ignition.

Curious if anyone else has seen this and what the fix ended up being.
