I've gotten this 3 times already. I've had my Bronco for 9 days. Yesterday was outside with my kids horn starts and lights started flashing. Any idea on why this is happening. All 3 times it has been parked for a few hours.

The lights is a known issue thats been posted on here but don't recall the horn going off too

Sounds like maybe your alarm went off, like maybe a door came ajar or maybe the hood is not down far enough or there’s a problem with one of the switches that triggers the alarm!

I think I recall someone adjusting the hood stops and this helped the situation. You do not have to turn them much to make a difference. But 9 days you might want to see what the dealership can do for you, it could be a bad sensor.

did you have the key fob in your pocket? I hit the panic button on mine all the time when the fob is in my pocket and I bump into something or bend over--or sit on it. LOL it happens.

This is a common issue with a variety of Ford products not just Broncos . Seems the hood latch sensors are super sensitive. Some folks have had their hoods realigned, me, I went to the dealership. They reviewed the Ford Pass alert history and then looked at the sensor. Within short while they said they would replace the latch & sensor (all one unit). New latch was ordered and replaced. No charge.
Either way a trip to the dealership is in order, you and your neighbors will be happier.

I’ve done that more than once!

They also just pushed out an update that adds a "Horn & Lights" feature to FordPass. Maybe pushing that out stirred up a bug you didn't know you had?

The horns and lights feature has been part of FordPass since May 2021.

Update. I was drinking home from Omaha yesterday. Cruising down the interstate I got a hood latch alert 5 times. 2.5hr drive
