Hey. New bronco base hard top owner here. Received it Monday. Took the front top portion off Tuesday during the warm day. Replaced it before sunset. Ever since then I've been having issues closing my door. Took it into the dealership an hour ago and they basically said it's a Ford thing. If I close my door it won't close fully unless I slam it. Which doesn't make sense and it makes a hard thud. Like something isn't connecting correctly. Now, if the window is cracked open it closes just fine. I had 4 different techs looking at it until the service manager finally came out to look it over and he said it's the air pressure in the cabin (which makes sense) and that the seals are thicker than standard (for waterproofing). He even pulled a different model MIC bronco out to demonstrate that the door was similar.

Point of the post is, I'm wondering if anyone else is having this issue, if I'm just crazy or if the dealership was fluffing me off.

Can it be all three? Also, what's fluffing you off? If a fluffer is what I think it is, that might be offensive.

When you close the door, does the window go up a little?

Check that your window indexed down when you open it. If it doesn’t do a reset.
I think it’s roll the window all the way up and then all the way down. Hold for like 5 seconds. You may have to do that cycle 3 times.

How could anyone be offended by that? See. It means spinning the words into a positive manner. Tsk tsk....

I'll try that. Thank you.

Give the latch itself a visual look and compare it to the other doors. There could be a small issue there.
