I have no idea how it happened, but I've developed a crack in the driver's side tail light. Not sure what could have bumped against it hard enough to do that... Has anyone else seen this kind of a crack develop? It starts where the clear outer layer meets the red plastic underneath, and has started growing down into the clear section - presumably due to thermal expansion / contraction in the sunshine.

Or is this perhaps a manufacturing defect that's making itself more apparent over time?

That appears to be a mold defect, perhaps a pocket of air in plastic during manufacture process, it appears to be way to round and strait to be an impact related crack. Take to your dealer!

That or it's a thin plastic wrap or overlay that was never removed prior to installation. I agree, though. It looks too straight to be the result of a random strike. The dealer should definitely see this. The other side is okay?
Chris here. I drive a 2-door Velocity Blue 2023 Ford Bronco Badlands with Sasquatch, Lux, a 2.7L V6, and an automatic transmission. It’s fun.

It’s not having what you want. It’s wanting what you have.

Stopped by my local Ford dealer (Encinitas Ford) this afternoon. They took some photos and are submitting them to Ford with a warranty replacement request. I'll update this thread when we have an answer.
