Hey guys, resurrecting this thread as this happened to me again this week.
First time: Was up in Michigan driving during that New Year's Eve snowstorm. As you may know, Michigan utterly nukes their roads with salt, so the whole Bronco had rock-hard slush frozen everywhere and was COVERED top-to-bottom with thick road salt. Next morning started it up and got the errors. Turned it off for five minutes, started it up, and the errors were gone.
Second time: Today after a thorough self-wash here in town. Drove home with the errors and let it park in the garage.
For those keeping score, this issue affects ABS, park assist, and hill climb mode, all of which error-out and remain disabled until after waiting a while and starting the truck again.
And like I mentioned last year, there is a unique and noticeable "pfiifff" sound when pushing the break while the errors are occurring (doesn't do this sound normally). Very weird.
