Check StabilTrak, ABS light on, no pre-collision assist, parking brake failure, GOAT modes not available. Could be a red herring, but pressing the brake emits a slight "phifff" sound now too.

Less than two years old with 4600 miles. Driven like it was a collector car - no hard braking, no hard acceleration, nothing.

Conditions: slushy, snowy

4A was selected. Only used 2H up until last month.

Let me guess, once the water and slush are completely gone from the bottom of the truck it will all work again? A "sensor" issue?

I'd expect a wheel speed sensor issue related to the ambient wetness and temperature. Warranty issue.
No salt tram towers were harmed in the making of this post...

Has this persisted? I have not had the brake sound but all the warnings freaking out and loss of G O.A.T. modes about half a dozen times or so no water/snow ect. Honestly the resulting limp mode is the most annoying and dangerous. I find a safe place to pull over turn the truck off and power completely down (I open and close the driver door to expedite complete shut down) count to 10 turn it on and on my way with no issues until the next time it decides it's in a mood. For smart vehicles alot of these sensors and modules seem better suited for the short bus. It's basically a computer on wheels turn it off and on again.

Apparently the wheels on the bus do not go round and round

Thanks guys for the support.

After leaving it in the garage for the last five hours, I just went out, held my breath, and started the truck -- the error messages are now gone.

I don't know if this had anything to do with it, but again, I ran the Bronco for the last year and a half only in 2H, never changing the GOAT mode nor switching to 4x for anything (never really needed to).

Starting the Bronco just now in 2H, and not in 4A like at the store earlier, may be a red herring, but I'm going to keep an eye on this.

Put it in the garage let it thaw out then see what you get. We are getting a blizzard in MI...that's 3-5 inches. I got alarms going off. Once the snow/ice melts all goes back to normal.

And just a thought…with these Bronco I would recommend periodically switching into 4H, 4L, 4A and goat modes, just because. Nothing good ever happens to a vehicle that sits. Keep all the parts moving.

I've had 3 winters with snowmaggedens and ice rink roads and zero issues during those conditions. If I ever have the gremlins in those conditions I 100% will be trading the Bronco and moving on. I got the Bronco specifically for G.O.A.T. modes and 4 wheel drive in the winters. I got sick of driving a Mustang in the winter conditions and worrying about getting hit by other drivers or getting high centered by snow. Having a 4×4 that's touted as a go anywhere do anything vehicle and having to thaw or dry it out to use it is redicoulisness.

Mine has always happened in 2H. I have used 4L and 4H and haven't had the issues while in 4x4 which is good, absolutely don't want that happening while needing 4x4 modes. I don't have 4A so I've never used that one.

Were any codes set?

That's a terrible idea, when do we start?

Were any codes set?

This is a good question. Personally, I recommend everyone get a decent code reader, they aren't expensive and can help to diagnose things without having to run to the dealer. Personally I use the Blue Driver one. There are others that are probably more comprehensive even than it is, but for me just checking to see what's going on with my Bronco this is great and it's BlueTooth connected to my iPhone where it has an app which is handy.
