Hey Everyone,

I am in Ontario & got my 2024 Wildtrak in August 2024 and have barely 1000 kilometres on it as of now.

I just noticed the other day that my MIC hardtop is showing the same issues that many people on the forum are finding on their MIC hardtops.

For the Canadian owners, how are you finding the response is from Canadian dealers and Ford Canada regarding replacement of defective tops under warranty?

I’ve found in the past the Ford Canada does not always march to the same drummer as Ford USA so that’s why I am asking specifically about the experience of Canadian owners.

Thanks

Not sure about Canada but finally took my '23 2dr Badlands in for top replacement on Monday. I haven't been in a rush due to hoping Ford would figure out this mess before my warranty run out. Went back Tuesday to pick it up and the new top is even worse. It looks exactly as yours does with the honeycomb and wrinkles. I asked them if they were kidding and they said they couldn't see it on the inside of the shop. They have another on order now and it'll be another 2 days wasted carrying it in and going back to pick it up. They left the headliner off as well so at least they have it ordered and can have it installed before they even call me to bring it in. Ford should have already stepped up and extended the warranty on these terrible tops by now. A lot of customers are going to be mad when this tops start failing when the warranty is out.

Your issue with the replacement is the reason I am reluctant to deal with mine.
