Broncos don't come with "printed/paper" owners manuals?

The "owner's manual" is accessed via your touchscreen. Alas, gone are the days of cozying up by the fire, pipe pressed firmly in your lips, bourbon mellowing by your side as you peruse the freshly inked owner's manual of your newly acquired motor car.

Bottom line, no. You can download it from ford as a pdf or look at it on the touchscreen in your bronco

In my mind, you would be in your easy chair, smoking jacket and slippers, loyal dog at your feet...in your house. But, if you want to do all that in your Bronco, have at it. Freedom!!

You are correct sir! Welcome to the future!!

Most manufacturers are taking the same approach these days and are digitizing the manual... so I guess we better get used to it. Ford does offer a PDF copy online so you can march down to your local FedEx/UPS store and print out a copy if you want. In my case, I put the PDF on my phone and tablet so I can get to it outside of the vehicle if needed.

I finally decided to pull out my owners manual to get caught up with all things "my Bronco". There was no owners manual!!!! just a supplemental guide.
I called my dealership up and spoke to a guy in service/parts. He informed me that the Broncos don't have owner manuals right now and that Ford has had an ongoing problem with Owners manuals ???????
Has anybody dealt with this? It seems incredulous that of all the problems Broncos have had that another one is printed owner manuals???

I just took delivery on my 2022 Mach 1 and there was no owners manual. I called the dealer and they told me to call Ford. When I called Ford, they told me they were no longer including manuals with the vehicles. I questioned this because I just took delivery on a Bronco Sport in August and it came with an owners manual. The rep told me that she had many calls on the Mustang missing the manuals.

I posted my comment in the Mustang forum and found out that there's a tab at the top that pulls down a special slot where the manual is kept. Looking into the glove box you can't even see it without sticking your head into the glovebox. So much for the dealer not knowing the location, or even worse, the people who answer the Ford hot line giving out false info.

I like the way you think! But there is a close alternative, I just bumped into this. If you register your vehicle on Ford parts. com you can pull up the owners manual on your phone or laptop. Then you can do all the rest from your comfy chair!

Well that sux. I've been recording my oil change intervals on the blank pages in the back of owners manuals since before the dawn of time... Its the best way I've found for that info to stay w/ the vehicle....

One down...

Wow. I took delivery of my Badlands in July and had a complete owners manual packet with the vehicle. What it didn't come with was the fabric cover for the owners manual- that's apparently an $169 option that includes a key fob cover and other misc stuff. That was a bit hard for me to believe- made me wish I had snagged the one from my Escape before completing the trade-in!

I was a little perturbed with the digitized owners manual too with my powerboost before the bronco, but then saw it was nearly 800 pages, and then I understood.

The good news, the digital manual is pretty much as useless as any printed manual I have ever seen.

I like the manual. While waiting for my Bronco I downloaded the pdf and read that thing cover to cover. My Bronco came with a paper manual but in a plastic bag instead of nice cloth cover.

To cover your manual do the old school way to cover our school books Brown paper Bag or wrapping paper works to keep it nice.
When I handed my Jeep back in on November 2021, the Dealership try to charge me 25.00 cause the manual was not in glove box they said it was not in the jeep Then I said try looking in back of jeep in underneath padding. They found it.

This issue has come up in different threads on both Bronco sites. I got a 2022 print manual from Helminc last July, cost me about $55. Check the site. They have the 2021 manual, in print, for $35, with a "please notify when available" for the 2022. My 2022 came reasonably fast and is paper-bound.
