Broken rear window clips

We’ll have 1300 miles on bronco. And decided it warmed up today and would see how the top folds down. Pulled side windows out and started to pull left side of rear window and grabbed the canvas like the windows and not the plastic corner cover and instantly broke the the plastic T-clips that hold the cover to the corner plastic. So now the rear window is flapping in the wind. Warning to all I didn’t pull very hard and they broke off many more will do it. I don’t see these lasting for long in the environment considering was first time I dropped the top and broke 2. A rivet would be more robust.

Hmmm, this is the second time I have heard of this. Do you have any pictures.
Sorry this happened, it should happen to a brand new vehicle. I hope Ford takes care of you.

I was too nervous to attempt taking them off because I was afraid something like this would happen

This happened to me after I pulled into the garage with the top down and got stuck. My son and I were taking the windows out and he pulled on the canvas instead of the plastic piece and pop, pop, pop....they are gone. Im currently using some velcro to kinda hold it, but it's not working. What response did you get from Ford? Do they have replacement parts available? Thanks

Taking mine this coming week for replacement they mentioned for recommending a rivet kit for the repair as well that I suggested

So far I have not encountered such problem in taking out and putting in those . Now that I am aware of this I will be mindful of it. Thanks for posting and warning us all.

Had the same issue. Took to dealer and they have to repair it. They ordered a full replacement at first, but ford told them to repair instead. Still waiting for the repair parts to come in. I can’t believe how flimsy these parts are. Same issue. One wrong pull and three rivets gone. Always pull from bottom and with the full plastic pieces!!!

Got mine finally repaired 2 weeks ago and the rivet both sides for the repair. The tech even broke more clips when removing it to do the repair
