My 2023 Wildtrack has 14,000 miles and I’m now on my third battery replacement? Fortunately still under warranty. Has anyone experienced this issue? I don’t have any electrical options installed but Rock Sliders. I’ve got a 2014 Expedition that still has the original battery. Never a problem.

I have over 100,000 miles on my 2021 2.7 Bronco and still the same battery.

sounds like you have a battery draining issue.

Also some people who had battery draining issues reported it was the back window defrost/defogger. What happens is it stays on constantly because of a bad control module. If you have a soft top then obviously this won’t be an issue, but if you have a hard top I would have your dealer check that control module.

One thing you have to remember is that these vehicles are always on, even when off and parked. They need to be driven to keep the charge. I keep mine on a battery tender. But with all of the over the air updates they just drain.

Our WildTrak has 27+k miles and still on original battery. Another suggestion is to make sure you're locking your Bronco when parked, even in a secure garage. Locking sorta puts it to sleep and reduces power drain.

Cheers
