Not sure if someone has posted about this, but I have noticed the guidelines are missing from my reverse camera on my 2021 Base Bronco. Thinking back to when I picked it up about a week ago it never had the guidelines. I should of said something when I left the dealer ship, I think I was so excited I did not really think about it until I needed to back into my garage. I checked the feature settings and only see an option pertaining to the back up camera delay. Does anyone know how to get these added back to reverse camera or do I need to try and take it into the dealer ship?

Didn't Ford send you the kit to fix this? It includes a white, red, and black marker. One small ruler to draw straight lines on the screen. :0)

Sorry to hear about this issue.

My guess would be the rear guide lines are only available when you have reverse sensing system. Which is only available in the mid package.

So if you have a high or Lux you don't get reverse sensing? I thought the higher packages included the lower version plus added features in that package.

It does. Everything in the mid package is included in the high and lux. This was a comment on reverse sensing in the mid package. Which is not available on the Base.

Mine went missing I guess, from the start. Imagine your the spare tire and your rear camera is your view. If it looks too close...it is. If you have a question...get out and look. You CAN train yourself to adapt to the view.

The rear guidelines do not show if the steering wheel is pointed straight. The manual says nothing about a package being required. If you are backing, turn the wheel left or right and see if the guides show up.

That's not it because I have a Big Bend and no Mid package and I have the guidelines when backing up. Looking in the manual it appears that all trims should have guidelines.

It was just a thought. I've had backup cameras in the past with no rear sensing and they didn't have grid lines.

Make sure your camera isn't zoomed in, i believe the guidelines go away when zoomed in.

if you back straight into you garage there will be no lines. If you have to turn the wheel to back in you should get lines.

I admit, I am old, I do NOT use the back up camera, it's just not in my nature.

But on the flip side, I'd be annoyed as well if I was supposed to have those lines but didn't. We all spend so much money on these things that everyone should expect it to work correctly.

If it's like my F150 you can go into the Settings and select gridlines to show or turn them off. The sequence will be in your owner's manual.

Found it. On p226.
